The gauntlet

Y/n ducks dodging a laser blast from the large robot attacking them.

Y/n: you know I don't really like being bothered during my weekend Which is my me time. If this were any other day I would have been excited.

Jen: what's the difference between the weekend and every other day? you're just going to sit around and do nothing.

Y/n: Wrong, I was going to sit into my couch, sink into the cushions and gain 300 extra pounds of fat from binge eating. Which I would then proceed to burn off in 10 minutes reaching for the remote that I accidentally placed too far away on the coffee table from me but not actually getting to it because I'm was way too overweight and lazy to actually get up and go get it.

The robot fires a blast at him but Y/n grabs Kevin who was conveniently nearby and uses him as a shield to block the attack. That ended up being a bad idea as a two were sent flying into a wall.

Jen: You ok?

Kevin: Been better.

Jen: I was actually talking to Y/n who you conveniently landed on.

Kevin: hey I'm hurt too.

Y/n: but you have Gwen to kiss your boo boo and make it feel better. Now get off me and try losing some weight.

Jen: is your watch recharged yet?

Y/n looks down at his watch which was still blinking blue and shook his head.

Y/n: nope

Jen: We have to do something I don't think gwen can hold that thing off for much longer.

The robot fires a bunch of lasers from it's fingers at Gwen knocking her off the platforms she had created with her powers.

Gwen: How long before you guys can change?

Jen: Maybe in a few minutes.

Y/n: this is more pointless than that conversation I had with azmuth about giving me access to master control again.

Flashback

Y/n looked at azmuth who's standing on the armrest of his couch.

Y/n: Come on this timer thing is really starting to piss me off.

Azmuth: you haven't even told me why you need Master control in the first place you're very capable as you are so I see no need to give you access to that amount of power it would be nonsensical and irresponsible.

Y/n: you know what I don't need your permission I'll get access to Master control by myself like I did before.

Azmuth: Ha! good luck with that, the ultimatrix  has so many firewalls not even a galvanic mechamoph can bypass them.

With that the Galvin disappears in a flash of green light Albedo pokes her head out from behind the couch where she was hiding.

Albedo: is he gone?

Y/n: Yup and I got nothing out of that conversation.

Ship came up to Y/n and he pets the little guy

Ship: Ship.

Seeing ship gave him an idea it might have been something stupid but it was worth a shot.

Y/n: galvanic mechamoph huh?

Y/n kneels down in front of ship.

Y/n: hey buddy you think you can bypass these firewalls for me?

Y/n pulls up the sleeve of his jacket showing ship the ultimatrix.
