Y/n was snoring having dozing off during Max's story because he found a details completely boring even though his father was involved he couldn't find the heart to care for some reason.
Jen: Whoa! You were a hero?
Max: I was just a guy doing a job.
Gwen: Excuse me but what exactly was that job?
Max: we called ourselves the plumbers. Officially we didn't exist we were guys who fixed problems no one else could extraterrestrial, extra sensory, extraordinary.
Jen: so all this time we've been going hero we've been following in your footsteps. We're plumbers in training.
Y/n wakes up upon hearing the words "following in your footsteps"
Y/n: Huh?
Jen: So you knew about the watch the entire time?
Max: not really just rumors and scuttlebutt. I was as surprised as you guys when they ended up on your wrists.
Gwen: you always told us we could tell you anything grandpa. guess you didn't feel the same.
Y/n: Quit whining I don't see what the big deal is if the old man has a secret.
Gwen: He lied to us!
Y/n: it's not really lying if someone decides to keep something to themselves.
Gwen: that's not the point he could have told us.
Y/n: you're a 10 year old how does someone just say *I used to fight aliens back in the day and not sound crazy?"
Gwen: I-
They hear sirens approaching as a fire truck sped by.
Jen: Alright this could be a chance for the plumbers to get back to work.
Max: My hero days are over.
Jen: Well, mine is just getting started come on Y/n.
Y/n: hopefully we pass a bank on the way there.
Gwen: haven't you had enough of stealing people's money.
Y/n: Not stealing anything this time I'm making a deposit into my bank account.
Gwen: What why?
Max: Well all his stolen merchandise has taken up a whole section of the RV and I think the back has been weighing down to the point that bumper is starting to touch the ground.
Y/n: Yeah what the old man said
Jen: Come on let's get going!
The two activate their watches and transform with Jen Not turning into the alien she wanted.
