I openly stared at him trying to figure him out. I could have gotten more information out of a brick wall, this guy was next to impossible for me to 'read'.
"Leave me alone." I hissed trying to get past him, I'd happily walk to Tasha's than share a bus with this creep.
But it turns out getting off the bus however was harder than anticipated.

A gasp of shock escaped my lips as I felt his hand clamp around the top of my arm, yanking me back down into the seat I had just occupied. Instinctively my own hand shot out to pull him off, only to have him grab it with his spare hand with amazing reflexes and twist it in a very painful, unnatural position. I whimpered slightly but made no move to free my hand. I knew one wrong move on my behalf would result in a broken wrist. If I was in the gym or in other large space I could have got him off me, but due to the small space of the bus there wasn't anything I could do.Until he let me go I was well and truly stuck.
"You know Billy, you might just want to listen to what I have to say."

"And why would I want to do that?" I challenged. He increased the pressure on my wrist causing me to visibly wince. Gritting my teeth to try and stop myself from crying out I glared at him.

"Well other than the obvious answer." He gestured to where my small hand was incased by his much larger one. "What I tell you might just save your life."  I stared at him more out of confusion than shock.
I was in danger? Since when?
Noticing this an almost sad smile made its way onto his lips. "She really hasn't told you anything has she?"

"Who?" I asked, even though I was pretty sure what his answer would be.

"Your mother."

I scowled "what's this got to do with my mum?" I asked rather hostilely. A smirk made its self know on his face.

"Everything. You see Billy you're mother made a rather big mistake. A mistake that impacts everyone she was associated with, this includes you Billy."

"What kind of mistake?" I asked, not buying anything he said.

"A mistake I can't tell you about."

"Why not?" I sassed slightly.

"Because I can't."

I raised an eyebrow "And where do you fit into this them?" I questioned, seeing as he wasn't going to be giving me an answer on anything else. Anyway, Maybe if I played along he'd leave me alone. He smiled.

"I am merely a messenger right now."

"Right now?"

"One day you might have to make a choice Billy, whether you like it or not, it could be tomorrow or in months time. Depending on your choice, or if you even get a say in the matter, will dictate what and who I will be to you. I might end up protecting you or..." He trailed off, staring at the window behind me.

"Or what?" I snapped.

He turned his suddenly cold gaze to me. "Or I'll be the reason you need protection."

Whilst I really didn't  believe what he was saying about my mum I have to admit a flash of fear ran through me at his last statement. My heart hammered in my chest, I swear you could have heard it. I dropped my gaze to the floor, suddenly realising the gravity of the situation I was in, sure I didn't belive what he was saying but I was still in a bad possition, a stranger had me helpless and quite scared at the back of a bus, the fate of my wrist depended on me co-operating with him and the bus driver didn't seem to notice that something was wrong. To him we probably looked like friends caught up in a good conversation.

"I don't believe you." I stated quietly, my eyes glued to the floor.

"That's not my problem."

I glanced up at him "so what are you here to warn me about then?"
