"Miss?... Miss?"

"Miss!" I heard a shout, my eyes snapping open. For a moment blind panic overtook me, not recognizing my surroundings.

I paused.

Wait a minuet?

Did I smell McDonald's?

That must of triggered something as memory's came flooding back to me. A phone call, packing my bags and heading to the airport. Releasing a breath I didn't remember holding, I realized I was in the back of the taxi. I must have fell asleep.

"We're here Miss." The driver said in his gruff voice, amusement clear in his eyes. Waking up sleeping passengers must have been a common occurrence to him.
I looked out the window, the sky was dark however illuminated in front of us was the airport. I glanced back at the driver who was looking at my patiently. I smiled at him.

"How much do I owe you?" My voice thick with sleep,I was secretly hoping that I had enough money on me. The driver only shook his head saying that it was all payed for in advance.  Relived I began to yank my bags off the floor considering one of them had got jammed under the seat.

I was just leaving the taxi when the driver spoke up. "Have a nice time with ya fella love."  I paused and looked back at him with confusion. What was he talking about?
"Eric I think he's name was." He said with a chuckle.

My face paled.

"W-what?" I stuttered. Noticing my distress the driver quickly answered.

"Don't look so worried love, your secret is safe with me." He smiled. "Has no one ever told you that you talk in your sleep? You sure said his name a fair few times."

"Oh." I let out a sigh of relief. Since when did I talk in my sleep though?

I'd never really traveled abroad. I went to France as a kid. Other than that I had never left the country or been on a plane. I don't remember too much about my trip to France as a child but I do remember hating the airport. It was too busy, too many people pushing and bumping into to you. Everyone caught up in their own life. Too busy to notice an eight year old crying as she'd gotten separated from her mum. Nobody noticed me when I was standing in the middle of the room crying my eyes out, desperately searching for my mum. I was found eventually, a member of staff finally noticed me. Minuets after that I was reunited with a very worried mum. I'd never seen her to scared, so pleased to see me. Approaching the entrance a knot formed in my stomach. This time I was alone. My mum wouldn't be there to find me if I got lost. No one would notice me if something happened.

I shook my head. I wasn't a child anymore. I could take care of myself, I didn't need anyone to hold my hand this time. Without realizing it I had stopped meters away from the entrance, unsure of what to do next. I was meant to meet that lady but I had no recollection of where I was supposed to meet her. The airport was a large place at the end of the day, a large place with lots of people. What was the chances of me finding a stranger who I only had one picture of in there? I took out my phone, hoping for some sort of answer to be there. Sadly I was having no such luck today. Nothing. No messages or anything showed on my screen. With a frustrated sigh I slipped my phone into my back pocket, hoping it wouldn't get pick pocketed and walked through the entrance. Not knowing what to do next I headed where any other teenager would. The coffee shop.

Ten minuets later I was sitting in a small cafe breathing in the rich aroma of the fresh doughnut that sat happily on my pate. Of course there was a strong coffee to the left of me. But who goes into a coffee shop for coffee? Everyone knows that you only go in there foe the cake. It was just an added bonus that they also sold doughnuts as well.
