The sleek black car pulled up to the towering gates of the Vyrthana Research Facility. The girls stared out the window, their expressions a mix of awe and apprehension.

The building itself was a marvel of modern architecture. Glass panels reflected the clear morning sky, while steel beams intertwined in an almost artistic fashion, creating a structure that looked both imposing and inviting. The facility was surrounded by manicured gardens, dotted with sculptures and fountains that gave the place a deceptively serene atmosphere.

Inside, the lobby was vast, with high ceilings and polished marble floors. A large reception desk sat at the center, manned by uniformed staff. The walls were lined with digital screens displaying rotating images of constellations, natural phenomena, and complex scientific diagrams.

“Welcome to the Vyrthana Research Facility,” Dr. Sophia Patel said, her voice calm and professional as she gestured for them to follow her.

Zee glanced at her friends. “Well, this is... intense.”

Kalli smirked. “Parang movie lang. Except tayo ang bida.”

Hannie trailed behind the group, her fingers fidgeting nervously. “I still don’t know if this is a good idea.”

“Relax,” Aria said, giving her a reassuring smile. “We’re here together. Whatever happens, we’ll deal with it.”

Dr. Patel led them down a long corridor, the sound of their footsteps echoing. They passed several doors with frosted glass windows, each labeled with cryptic names like Neurokinetic Analysis and Elemental Manipulation Research.

“The facility is divided into three main areas,” Dr. Patel explained. “The lab rooms, the testing rooms, and the training rooms. Each serves a specific purpose for understanding and honing your abilities.”

They stopped at a door labeled Lab 3. Dr. Patel pushed it open to reveal a brightly lit room filled with advanced equipment. Machines with blinking lights and touchscreens lined the walls, while tables were cluttered with beakers, wires, and strange-looking devices.

“This is where we’ll analyze your abilities on a molecular level,” she said. “Our goal is to understand how your powers work biologically and neurologically.”

A man in a lab coat approached them, his movements precise and professional. He introduced himself as Dr. Nathan Yu, the lead researcher for their case.

“Ladies,” he greeted them with a slight nod. “We’ll begin with a few non-invasive tests. Just routine scans and readings to establish a baseline.”

“Non-invasive, ha?” Kalli muttered under her breath, earning a stifled laugh from Niamh.

Dr. Patel raised an eyebrow but didn’t comment. “After the lab work, we’ll move on to the testing rooms.”

They were led to the next section of the facility, where the atmosphere shifted. The walls were reinforced with a strange metallic sheen, and the air felt heavier, as if charged with energy.

“This is where we test the extent of your powers,” Dr. Patel explained. “The rooms are designed to withstand even the most volatile abilities.”

“Good to know,” River said, her voice dry.

The last stop was the training room—a massive space with high ceilings and a polished floor. The walls were lined with mirrors, and various pieces of equipment were scattered around, including obstacle courses, dummies, and targets.
