Varshini became a little nervous watching him in front her after last night. She slowly gave him a side and let him enter inside.
Entering inside, Devadriptya put the blazer on the couches and removed his tie from the neck. Then opened his cufflinks of the shirt.
All the while, she was standing a bit away from him watching him going into the washroom. She waited for him to start a conversation but got silence in return. Should she start a conversation with him herself or should she leave the place just like that before he could come. It was getting so awkward for her day by day to stay with the man under the same roof.
She gazed at the door for once and turned to go but was stopped by a voice.

Her feet stopped hearing the word.
What did he want to say now? Her heart started beating rapidly. What if she ended up feeling awkward again? She turned her head slowly lowering her head avoiding any eye contact with him.
"Sit"

She didn't oppose and sat on the bed without looking at him. She was more confused thinking what he wanted to tell her. Would he question her about the morning incident? Should she tell all those to him or not?
Devadriptya opened the door as a cook entered the room with a trolley full of food and stood in front of her.
Varshini who was still looking outside the window was surprised after seeing so many dishes in front of her. Did he bring all these items for her?
"Ma'am, Everything is here. If you need anything, call me"
Saying so, the cook left.
"Eat"
He said making her look at him with the same uneasiness.
Devadriptya watched her hesitating a bit in taking the food as he stood in front of her putting one hand in the pocket.
"If you stay hungry all day, will they stop behaving rudely with you? Will they stop blaming you?"
Varshini looked in his eyes hearing his words.
"This world is selfish. None thinks about others. If they don't care about you, why do you care about them?"
He placed the plate on the table and left from there.
