Noah: So you're wondering about the scene at the end of the last chapter. Well, to give more details, we need to go back. A quick time rewind happens...
Monday 4th February, 2019:
The story starts with Noah looking at a picture of Tari. and Tari looking at a picture of the other person. He both knew that their feelings for each other had returned at Christmas, but he didn't know how to confess them. He obviously wanted to be her boyfriend again, but Noah needed to make sure that he didn't mess it up. Through January, it was clear that he was falling in love with her.
Nightmare, to Noah: So... you're in love with her? Noah then sighed.
Noah, to Nightmare: It's more than that, buddy. Tari is just, well, you know, perfect. She got these eyes that sparkle so bright that it can light up entire countries. Her hair is a golden blonde that, when the sun's at a perfect angle, turns her into pure beauty. And whenever she smiles, it lights up my whole world, knowing that if she's happy, then I'm happy. He then sighs. But... I just don't know how to tell her my feelings again.
Nightmare, to Noah: Well... Maybe you can write her a love letter. That's how Aliya confessed to Douglas.
Noah, to Nightmare: I guess... But I don't really wanna copy what Aliya wrote.
Nightmare, to Noah: I obviously know that. Just... try and think of something, alright?
Noah, to Nightmare: OK then. Just then, Rob walks into the room.
Rob, to Noah and Nightmare: Hey guys. What's going on?
Noah, to Robert: Oh, hey dad. We're just chilling, that's all.
Nightmare, also to Robert: Noah's in love with Tari.
Noah, to Robert: And also that.
Robert, to Noah: Wait... Tari? I thought that you two broke up 13 years ago?
Noah, to Robert: Well, we never technically broke up. Susan's final act forced us to break up, remember? Robert then remembered what happened that day.
Robert: Oh, right. But that's not the point. What do you mean that you're in love with Tari?
Noah, to Robert: Well... I've never told anyone this... but me and Tari kissed on Christmas Day last year.
Robert, to Noah: You kissed her?! Why didn't you tell anyone about this?!
Noah, to Robert: I didn't want to ruin our friendship, dad! If everyone knew that me and Tari kissed, then they would also know that we both have a crush on each other! Plus, I didn't know what to do as well!
Robert, to Noah: Well, maybe you can ask her out somewhere.
Noah, to Robert: But where? And how? I don't wanna go somewhere stupid.
Robert, to Noah: I know that. Just... try and think of somewhere, ok?
Noah, to Robert: Ok, I'll try. He then yawns. Well, I'm off to bed. Night dad.
Robert, to Noah and Nightmare: Night guys. He then leaves the room, before Noah then gets into his bed, and he goes to sleep.
