Chapter Five: Lotto Oh No

Waking up the next day, Got Jay & Santos up early to make breakfast since they were the first to showered and get dressed before heading downstairs. "Shouldn't you be at job soon?" asked Jay. Santos held a piece of toast in his mouth before he bite the edge and held the remainder in his hand chew and shallow before sponging, "Yes I do, I nearly forgotten. I need to go back to the office before anyvody suspects anything. Give the boys a notice that they are due in office in the next few hours" Jay looked at him and nodded, "Sure, They should be getting up soon or already ate by now" Reggie & Jack smelling good and freshly clean came downstairs to the dining table that was set in the kitchen. "Morning" They both said at the same time. Santos was already gone by before he heard the morning greetings, Jay gave them a plate of sunny side up eggs, bacon, toast, & some freshly squeeze juice. "By the way" Jay says, "Santos said that he will meet you at the NYPD station" Reggie look at him and Jack before looking slightly annoyed "Did he forgot that we have other cases to solve?" asked Reggie. Jay was gonna say something before Heather & Maya walk downstairs together looking refresh and clean. "We do but you must also keep our real identity a secret or be risk of exposure and sending off a freak out signal to the rest of the world" answered Heather. "Don't worry, We'll be fine. I'm going to stay behind and see if there's movement from Jefferson or his henchmen" Maya agreed, I'll stay behind to help. I'm sure Avery & Devon wil too" added Maya. Trey ran downstairs and says, "I heard my name, what did I do this time?" Jack who was eating away and not saying much, finally spoken when he finish his breakfast plate and wiping his mouth with a napkin. Thank You Jay, didn't think you were a chef" He turn to Trey and says, "You did nothing, we have to go to the office" Trey nodded and replied with a small grin "Don't worry, Jay & I will follow up with that elderly woman and we'll keep an eye plus Devon gave me a spell to remove demon and send them back. I wanna test it out" Jay look at Trey with a raise eyebrow. "Devon taught you? I been getting that boy to teach me something and all he did was ingore me" Jay says "Did he forget this is a team?" He said through gritted teeth. Heather was going to say something but instead she was cut short by Leah who toss each of them a very small tracker which was some very earbuds that's big enough to fit behind the ear but still thin and small enough to allow everyone to walk around and speak undetected. "What's this?" asked Reggie. "Trackers, they also come together with a way for us to connect. It's big enough to fit but small enough to not make it known. I ask Avery & Devon for help last night, they were kind enough to make each of us inckuding themselves one" Jack look at the ear piece and places it behind his ear and says, "What does this do exactly?" Leah look at him and everyone else who has the same question, "It will link to our system no matter where we are. It will track our movements and locations. If we need help, they can guide them towards the person in trouble" Jay & Trey both look impressed. "Oh I almost forgot" Leah gave him each glasses with no lens in it. She puts one on herself and says, "Nathan made these for us and left them by the table when he left early this morning with Angie. The team looks flabbergasted but they place the glasses on. Avery & Devon came downstairs at last and Devon says, "Ours were modified however yours will allows us to see what your swing on the Mounties in the office. With both of these things handy, we should be able to hear what's going on and be ready to see and view everything. Devon and Avery signal for everyone to turn on their devices before they headed to the office. "What about Santos?" asked Jay. Devon looks at Jay and responded, "He got his first thing this morning. Here's his camera & audio" Devon click on Santos Point of View camera and he ask Santos, "Santos Can You Hear Me" asked Devon. "If you can hear me, pick up the cup of coffee" Santos pick up the coffee cup and says, "Hear you loud and clear" Devon grin and says, "Perfect if it's work for hkm it already works for all of you" Reggie & Jack look at the screen and Iack says, "Right we have to get to the station. Let me know how it goes" Jack left the room and Reggie says, "Please be careful, Jefferson could be anywhere even watching us all" He gave a small nod as to plead with them to be safe and soon follow Jack out the door.
