Today is the grand opening of my art gallery. I'm really excited for it to finally be open. Free for anyone to visit. These last few days i've been so busy with all the finishing touches of the interior, that I haven't even realized that it's been almost a week since me and Sasha met. It's just that everything here got complicated, and there were a few difficulties but they were solved quickly.
I was thinking of asking Sasha to come to the gallery today for the opening, since I noticed he really liked it here last time. Just remembering the look of love in his eyes made me smile. Wait why am I smiling and thinking of him, I've only known him for like a few days. But the truth is we really clicked that day we met, I felt a connection. Maybe it's just the fact that we both admire art and actually understand the story the artist was trying to tell. I feel like he would really have a good time today, and it would just be a bonus for me so I could see him again.
I know that I should chill but there is just something there. Something I quite can't explain, like a good feeling about him. It's unexplainable. Well anyway I should probably ask if he has time to come.

Hey Sasha, I was wondering if you would like to come to the opening of my gallery today? If you have time of course!
Now I just have to wait for him to answer. He might be busy because it is Friday and well he still goes to school. I wonder how he is doing, and I would also really like to see more of his art. I remember from the time we bumped into each other that he had a very interesting art style. But interesting in a good way. He is very talented, if I could I would even hang some of his art up in my gallery. Maybe one day I will.
While I was thinking Sasha texted me back, I didn't even notice my phone buzzing in my pocket.

Nice I'm glad you can make it. I was thinking that we could maybe get coffee before the opening. I could really use some. The ceremony starts at 6 pm. So I was thinking to meet around 5? If that's good with you.

I should probably go finish up with the last of the tasks, so this gallery can finally open. I'm really excited to say the least. I never thought that this would happen, such a big achievement. I've gotten this far so I need it to be perfect.

We're finally done with everything. It took a long time, and it was extremely exhausting. But in the end I know it will be worth it.
As I was walking to go gather my things I noticed that the doors to my office were wide open. That's weird the last time I was in here was in the morning when I got here, and when I left I locked the door. And no one else here is allowed to go in my office. Not the staff or security.
When I walked in I checked if any of my stuff was missing, but it was all there. The only thing I noticed was that some of my belongings on my desk and shelf's were in different places. That's strange, very strange. Whatever as long as nothings missing than I guess it's not that serious.
I got so caught up that I didn't even notice the time. It's already 4:57 and I am supposed to meet Sasha at 5. I better hurry but I'm probably going to be a little late. I don't want him to wait for too long.

As I got closer I could finally see the caffe. I looked through the windows and I saw Sasha sitting down at a table. He was reading, I didn't know he liked to read. I should ask him what his favorite book is.
"Is this seat taken?" I asked the shorter man. He jumped out of his seat, surprised. "Omg, you scared me! Don't sneak up on me like that again" he said breathing heavily. "Sorry, sorry I just had to. You looked so focused" I laughed earning a scoff from Sasha. "Yeah, yeah whatever. It's just so funny to scare someone half to death. I could've had a heart attack!" He screeched sarcastically. "And that would've been a real problem now wouldn't it. That would mean you would miss the grand opening of my very own art gallery" I said dramatically as he laughed.
We got some coffee and decided to go for a walk before going to the event. The walk was nice it was filled with light and fun conversation, followed by a lot of cheesy dad jokes. I never knew that just a walk could be so fun and comforting.

We arrived at the gallery and I went to go put my stuff in my office. I told Sasha he can come in and put his stuff down too. He's probably the only person I will let in here. What's funny is that he should be the last person to step in here, but for some reason I don't mind. Back at home I didn't even let my family in my office. This guy has got a lot of influence on me. Interesting. Very interesting.
"Wow this office is huge." he said before he started looking around. "Oh. My. God. You have like a whole library in here. That's awesome! This is like my dream to have. But I don't really have space to have so much books" he said while he was admiring all the old and new books on every shelf. I want to complete that dream of his, would that be weird? Nooo, that would be a nice gesture. Definitely. "Hey Sasha, what's your favorite book?" I asked curious. "Wow, hard question. Uhm, oh I know it's definitely White Nights by Dostoevsky" he said smiling.
"Wow that's an unusual choice. But I like it. A hard read too" I said almost amazed " I wouldn't take you as a fan of the classics" I say looking at him. He smiled "I guess I'm just unpredictable". "Yes you are you surprised me" I said smiling. "Well I'm glad that I had that affect on you" he said laughing.
"Hey we should probably head out. The event is about to start, and I need to check if everything is how it should be" I said as he nodded. "Okay sure, let's go!" He said excited as I just couldn't help but smile at him. The amount of joy that art brings to him, is amazing.
