New Horizons

Taehyung wakes up without any alarm. Waking up in the morning is his habit. He loves to walk in the garden in the morning. But since it's a new place he may or may not has permission to go everywhere. Also he isn't comfortable to go outside. So he just stands in front of his window with closed eyes. God he needs a cup of hot tea right now but is he going to make tea for himself at 6 am? Of course no.

Few minutes later he gets inside bathroom and washes his face and takes bath. He needs to hurry not. He walks down stairs to make breakfast for everyone. He is not going to hear the gold digger word from his step children's mouths. As he enters inside the kitchen he spots two maids are already cooking.

''hello sisters!'' he greets them as they are same age as him. They also greet taehyung back.

''why are you here Mrs Jeon? Do you need anything?'' one of them asks.

''actually no.. I'm here to make breakfast for everyone.''

''we are actually already making. You don't have to worry mrs jeon.''

''no it's okay. It's my duty. You two can help me if you want. What are you two making now?''

''oh.. we are making pancakes, fruit salads for your two children.''

''great.. now I can start for the rest of members right? Just tell me what they like to eat and I'll make.''

''your husband eats just toast bread with olive oil for breakfast. And your in laws eat any kind of Korean dishes.''

''olive oil and toasted bread?'' taehyung asks with making face and one maid laughs.

''yes actually to maintain his fitness you know. There's a reason for your husband to be fit like a 25 years old man.. just roast 3 breads and pour the olive oil on a plate and sprinkle some salt. Nothing else is needed for him.''

''coffee or tea for him?'' taehyung asks already starts his work.

''dark coffee with no sugar or milk.''

''okay now bring me ingredients for making bibimbap and breads. Then you can continue making breakfast for kids.''

As taehyung starts cooking he looks behind hearing some footsteps. 'hey taehyung! You are here?'' his mother in law speaks with big smile while coming to him.

''yeah..'' taehyung speaks with small smile. ''do you need anything?'' taehyung asks her.

''that's so rude taehyung! You could just call me mother, do you need anything?'' she speaks with a heavy voice and then lets out a kind laugh. ''I was just joking! Please call me mother. Or else I feel distanced.''

Taehyung doesn't answer anything. Just smiles a bit and nods his head. This woman sounds sweet.

''mahira make me a cup of tea.'' She speaks to a maid.

''no wait! I'll make it... I also like tea..'' taehyung says while filling a pot with water.

''really? We have similar taste then! These days people are obsessed with coffee and almost forgot about the freshness of the tea. Then make one cup for you too. We can chat while sipping tea.'' She speaks.
