Jungkook walks into the living room, his brows knit as he sees Sunmi sitting on the couch. His stops on his track for a second, but he quickly regains his composure. Seojin and Minho, are standing close to their mother, their expressions tense. His parents stand across from them, their faces are unreadable, but the atmosphere in the room is anything but calm.

He glances around, feeling a strange, unsettled energy. "What is going on?" he asks, his voice is  sharper than usual.

"I called Mom," Seojin says, her tone is bold and unapologetic.

Jungkook's eyes narrow. "Without telling me?"

"Why should we tell you?" Minho retorts, his voice is laced with betrayal. "You never ask us before making decisions."

Jungkook clenches his jaw. He knows where this is going, and it already feels like a losing battle. "Sunmi, why are you here?"

Before she can answer, seojin speaks up. "Mom is staying with us."

Jungkook's hands turn into fists. "That's not how it works. She doesn’t live here anymore."

"She’s our mother!" Seojin snaps. "She should be here, not your second wife. He isn't our mother so he can't stay with us."

Jungkook exhales slowly, his shoulders stiffen. "This isn't about that."

"It is," seojin insists. "We don’t want to live with Taehyung. We never did. We have been saying it from the beginning. And now, after today, we’ve had enough. Either you fix this or—"

"Or what?" Jungkook asks, but his voice is softer now. A sinking feeling raises in his stomach.

Seojin folds her arms. "Or you choose."

Jungkook stares at him, disbelief flashing across his face. "Choose? What are you talking about?"

"Divorce him," she says plainly. "Or we won’t stay here."

Jungkook opens his mouth, but no words come out. His throat feels tight, his mind races. He wasn’t prepared for this. He had known his children weren’t fond of Taehyung, but this—this is something else.

"Jungkook I'm not interested in whatever problem is going on here. But my problem is you are ignoring my children because of someone else. You even tried to slap Minho too? Do you think I gave birth of him at my teenage years ruining my whole life just for him to get ignored and slap from his father because of someone else?" Sunmi says with a broken voice. She can't accept his once husband moved on from her easily and now married with other. She never accepted it.

"Sunmi when they are wrong we need to correct them! They keep misbehaving with taehyung from the beginning. And you think I shouldn't correct them? I'm their father. I know what's wrong and right for them." Jungkook reasons.

"Jungkook tell me did they always were like this? Do they misbehave with others too? Or did they misbehave with people before your marriage? No right? They are well behaved with everyone. Both of us always taught them to respect people and behave well with everyone. In my knowledge it's only your wife with who they are like this? Both of us got divorced almost 7 years ago. But I didn't get married. You know why right? Because my children wouldn't like it. Because my children would get distanced from me. To me my children are the first priority. But look at you now... The one who was dying to have Minho that time..  you literally got married when they asked you not to, they cried to you but you still did get marry. Now what do you expect from them? They have feelings too. When I can respect my children's feelings then why can't you? Don't you claim to love them more than I do? What happened to your love huh? My children are crying... Asking me to come here because they can't seek comfort from you anymore... They can't seek comfort from their father who is their world... Do you think it's okay with me as their mother?" Sunmi speaks with rage.
"They are always complaining about your changed behavior toward them after your marriage. Did you ever see them crying like this Jungkook? You know them better than me right? You did everything so not even a single tears fall from their eyes. But you are the same person making them cry always... From months... I don't like to see my children crying because of someone else Jungkook." She adds and wipes off her tears.
