In a room full of voices, I stay unseen,
A quiet soul in a world so keen.
Words pile up, yet never take flight,
A lone star fading in the vastness of night.
Shyness weaves its threads through my skin,
A fragile armor, both loss and win.
I long to speak, to break this shell,
Yet fear binds tight, a voiceless spell.
The only child in an echoing hall,
Where shadows stretch but never call.
Parents' footsteps, fleeting, away they stray,
Their world too fast for mine to stay.
Friends like whispers, distant few,
Promises fade like morning dew.
I reach, I yearn, yet find no hand,
A solitary figure on shifting sand.
But even in silence, strength does bloom,
In the stillness of my quiet room.
For though unseen, my heart still beats,
A melody soft, where courage meets.
Someday, perhaps, my voice will rise,
A gentle storm beneath shy skies.
Until then, I'll hold this space,
A quiet strength, a peaceful grace.
