The Power Of The White Witch

Defense

I have been staying at Hoseok's for a few days now. We have all been training. Today was defense. 

I get up out of bed stretching. I go to the bathroom and take a shower. I then get dressed.

Hoseok wakes up shortly after. He kisses me on the cheek as I finish my makeup for the day. 

I smile at him in the mirror. "Good morning." 

His voice is thick with sleep. "Morning." He drops his grey sweats. I blush slightly as he gets in the shower. He smirks at me. I put on my makeup away and take a deep breath. I leave the bathroom and put my things away in the room. He walks back in with just a towel. 

I cover my face giggling. "Hoseok!" 

He chuckles. "What?" 

I cover my eyes. "Put some clothes on!" He laughs. I hear some shuffling and he claps his hands. 

He laughs again. "Ok, you're good." I open my eyes and look at him.

He smiles. "Come on. Let's go down." We walk down the stairs. The coven sits around in the living room.

Rocky groans. "Please tell me we get to use magic today."

Hoseok smiles. "Yes. We will all be learning defense today. You will all be going against...Rose." I look at them all. 

Rocky scoffs. "Just Rose? Easy."

Hoseok pinches the bridge of his nose. "She's an ultimate grand supreme white witch. She more powerful than anyone ever documented." 

Rocky stands. "If shes so powerful then why doesn't she fight the dark coven off by herself then hmm?" 

Hoseok goes to speak but I stop him. "Look. I know this isn't your mess but...this is what we have to do to stay alive. You guys are by far the most powerful coven out there. That is a big threat to Chiffron and his gang of goons. If we all want to live this is what we have to do. If you don't wanna do this...then stay here." 

Hoseok looks at the coven. "All in favor?" Six hands are raised high in the air. Rocky and I stare into each other's souls. I give her a pleading look. 

She groans. "Fine. Let's do this." 

I sigh of relief. "Thank you."

She raises a finger. "But when shit starts to really hit the fan I'm out. I have to be there for Trent and Benny." 

I nod. "Understood." 

Hoseok claps his hands together. "Ok. Let's go to the field." 

We walk through the woods for what feels like forever. Finally, we reach a clearing. 

I look out at the tall grass. "Stand in the tree line." They stay where they are. "Ure gramen." (1) The tall grass turns to flames. Soon it turns to ash. A chared perfect circle is now where the field used to sit. I nod at them and they come out. 

Karson looks around. "I wish we had some seats." 

I look over to the side. "Six truncos terrae." (2) Six trunks rise from the ground. Hoseok smirks at me. 

Karson smiles wide. "Awesome! Thanks!" Everyone sits down. 

I look at them. "Who's first?"

Rocky smirks. "Me." I nod. 

Hoseok looks at her. "Don't get ahead of yourself sis."

She shoots him a glare and then looks at me as she assumes her spot. "Don't hold back."

I shake my head. "Didn't plan on it." I shake my hands as they light on fire. She smirks at me. I throw a fire ball at her. She blocks it. "Good. That was just a level one. Let's fight." She starts shooting everything she can at me. I block it all easily. She starts to get mad. She throws a tree branch at me. 

Hoseok stands up. "Rose!"

I close my eyes. "Transmutatio. Rocky traicere." (3) The tree branch slams onto the ground. I am now behind Rocky. I whisper in her ear. "Boo." She turns around and I place my hand out clenching it into a fist. She gasps for air as I close off her airway lifting her off the ground. She taps the side of her leg. I unclench my fist. "Go sit down." We walk over to the group. I look at the tree branch. "Movere." (4) The tree branch flies into the woods. "First thing you're gonna learn today...Chiffron is going to use the seven wonders on you guys because he knows you guys can't all do it. You all get tested at the age of fourteen to see what seven wonders you will pass to determine if you will be the head of a coven or not. The Dark Coven knows your strengths and knows your weaknesses. Don't think for a second that they won't use those against you." Hoseok hands me a rag. I wipe my nose with it. I look at them. "Next."

1-Burn the grass. 

2-Six trunks from the earth.

3-Transmutation. Transport to Rocky.

4-Move.
