The Fall

I turn and look at him. "Chiffron."

He smiles evilly. "What a fine morning for a visit huh?" 

I tilt my head. "I think we both know this is more than a visit to Chiffron." He slowly walks closer.

Hoseok narrows his eyes. "One step closer, and I will light you on fire before you can even blink." Chiffron looks at him stunned. "I don't know what you came here for, Chiffron. You're an idiot if you believe that you will ever beat this coven." 

He chuckles. "I like your confidence." 

Rocky smirks. "We have the most powerful witch on our side. You stand no chance." 

I stare at him deeply. "Tell me Chiffron...you always knew I was coming didn't you?"

He tilts his head. "I don't know what you're talking about young Rose."

I scoff. "Oh come on. You don't think I'm that stupid, do you? Well, let me show you." 

His eyes grow wide. "Rose..."

I close my eyes. "Ostendere." (1) A wave of magic fills the field as we are all taken away. 

500 years ago a woman named Katerina Lux was born. Her true love Denali  Obscuramundi was born a couple of years earlier. Katerina was a powerful white witch. The most powerful one that the world had ever seen. She met Denali one night in the woods surrounding the small village that she lived just outside of. She felt a strong pull to him but she knew he was dark. As she grew up the Obscuramundi family watched her closely. After months of secretly seeing each other Katerina revealed her secret. She could control her spirit. The first of her kind she decided to write it all down in a book in hopes that she could teach Denali. Spirit didn't want him to know their secrets in fear that Denali's family would gain control of Spirit and no one would be able to stop them. 

One night Denali's father caught him sneaking out to meet Katerina. He used a spell to get into Denali's head to see what he had been up to. When Denali's father unlocked these memories he knew that if they didn't kill Katerina she would become a threat to the dark world breaking free all of their slaves and releasing light around the world. Denali's family decided to kill her. 

Denali went and found Katerina to warn her. There was nothing she could do as she didn't have all of her powers completely under control and she had taken a vow to never harm another person no matter what. 

She took Denali by the hand and did a spell. "Promitto te invenire in altera vita temporis. Quingentis annis renascemur et tenebrosos semel in omnibus deponemus. Promitto me amare te et omnia vitia tua in omne eternum. Suscipiat spiritus animam meam et tuam custodiam. Donec iterum convenient." (2) 

500 years later, a dark warlock was born. He was known to be quite powerful and had a powerful coven. A few years later a young girl was born to a powerful white witch.  Denali and Katerina were back.

Chiffron's eyes widened. "Impossible." 

Karson shakes his head. "Not impossible actually. Isn't that why you've always kept our coven close? Because you knew that Hoseok was the reincarnated Denali and you knew that he would bring you Rose once he found her. The reincarnated Katerina." Chiffron's coven was angry. 

Lace fumed. "Is this true?!"

Chiffron looked at his coven. "It's true but I was going to kill her before she could take us down."

I smirk. "Ya? Well, how's that working for you?" He shoots a fireball at me. I dodge it and then look at him. "You're dead." Yells and screams pierce the air as magic swirls around. Chiffron's coven didn't come alone. Dark warlocks from around the world came but were easily picked off by us. 

I look up and see Hoseok struggling to keep up with the one he was fighting. "Hoseok!" I take a deep breath and punch the ground. A huge crack opens up and the man falls in. Hoseok looks over at me and nods. I wipe my bloody nose. Chiffron smiles at me in the middle. I run at him. Two men grab me. 

Chiffron smiles down at me. "Young Rose. I have been on this earth for many years. Did you believe you could escape me?" He places his hands on my head and begins to drain me. I scream out in agony from the pain. 

"Hey!" Chiffron turns and sees Rocky. She places her hands on his neck. "Facete." (3) Electricity runs through his body. 

I smile at her. "Ignis." (4) The men holding me set on fire screaming. I walk over to Chiffron who lays almost lifeless on the ground. I grab his shirt and lift him to me. "You will never have my power," I smirk. "Tenebris hanc sume dominos animam, nec eam liberam." (5) I suck in the air by his mouth taking his soul from his body. I drop his lifeless body. Wind whips through my hair and lighting cracks across the sky. I turn to the fight. My eyes glowed with power. 

Rocky looks at me. "Rose?" Her voice is shaky. 

I look at her calmly. "Stand back." She steps back. I hold out my hand. A flash of light fills the space. I close my eyes. "Cineres!" (6) When I open my eyes all of the dark warlocks are only ash on the ground. Hoseok smiles at me. Blood runs down my face from my nose as I smile back. Then Hoseoks face turns to horror. "Rose!" I look down. My shirt is covered in blood. I lift it. A huge stab wound sits on my stomach. I look at him and then pass out hitting the ground hard.

2-I promise to find you in the next lifetime. In five hundred years we will be reborn and take down the dark world once in for all. I promise to love you and all of your flaws for all of eternity. May spirit take my soul and yours for safekeeping. Until we meet again.

3-Shock.

4-Fire.

5-Take this dark lord's soul and never set it free.

6-Ash!
