───── WELCOMETHE VILLAIN kids were actually welcomed differently to how Rowan had expected. She's thought most of Auradon would be against it, but students gathered around to welcome the four newcomers to the school. Of course, there were a few old-fashioned folk who weren't exactly fond of the idea, but there weren't any major protests like Rowan has expected.
She stood in wait with Ben, Fairy Godmother and Audrey as the long, black limousine pulled up. The first two to tumble out of the door were the boys, Jay and Carlos, the smaller boy being shoved to the ground by his friend, who was trying to take something from him.
"You got everything else, why do you want whatever this is?!" The white-haired boy screeched, as the other stood on his torso.
"Cause you want it!"
They continued to fight as the girls stepped out of the car with just a bit more eloquence than them. The band departed, allowed Fairy Godmother, Ben, Audrey and Rowan to pass through. Rowan now got a good look at them. They were different, but not in a bad way. She actually thought they were quite fashionable.
Rowan looks up at Ben, before leaning over to whisper in his ear. "Someone should stop them..."
"Why don't you stop them?" Audrey asked, "Your mother was the one who takes all those rowdy bar-goers, was she not?"
"I'm not my mother." Rowan deadpanned. She never really liked Audrey and her infatuation with the fairytale life. She wanted to be just like her parents, minus the traumatic event of almost sleeping for one hundred years. Rowan wasn't a fan.
"Right. Because the long blonde hair, green eyes, purple dress and a billion hobbies totally doesn't scream Rapunzel."
Okay. Good point.
Rowan stepped forward, causing Jay and Carlos to pause their fighting. "A raggedy old piece cloth isn't worth fighting over, I assure you."
Upon looking at Rowan, the boy on the ground suddenly found the strength to shove his friend off of him, standing up. It was now that the princess realised he had chocolate all over his lips. She looked him up and down. Red, white and black. A raccoon tail on his belt. White hair. This must've been Carlos.
"Are... Are you Cupid's daughter or something...?" He asked, his wide, curious eyes not leaving hers. Rowan's brows furrowed. Purple dress, green eyes, blonde hair, and little suns on her jewellery. There was nothing 'Cupid' about her! Still, she supposed that was nowhere near the worst assumption someone could make.
"No. I'm Rowan, daughter of Rapunzel." She looked back at Ben, realising she should probably allow the future king, the one who'd given the VKs this opportunity, to introduce himself first. She took a few steps back, Carlos' eyes lingering on her before Ben's footsteps snapped him out of his thoughts.
"It's so good to finally meet you all," Ben said, "I'm Ben."
"Prince Benjamin," Audrey corrected him. Rowan rolled her eyes. "Soon to be king!"
"This is Audrey," Ben chuckled nervously.
"Princess Audrey. His girlfriend." She took Ben's hand, which made Rowan instinctively take a step back. She couldn't stand the awkwardness. "Right Bennyboo?"
