Part-17

After Santu’s dramatic nal incident, everyone resumed their routines. Pushpa ji returned to her cooking, muttering under her breath about Santu’s knack for giving her a mini heart attack.

Meanwhile, both Haseena and Karishma quietly drifted into their respective activities, Haseena went to freshen up and Karishma started cleaning her bike. But their minds were still stuck on the almost kiss.

Haseena glanced at herself in the mirror, splashing water on her face, muttering softly,"Main kya soch rahi thi? Kahin Karishma yeh na soche ki maine koi seema paar kar di hai?Agar Santu ki awaaz na aayi hoti toh kya hoga?"she murmured to herself.

Haseena's cheeks flushed as she remembered the moment, the warmth of Karishma's breath still lingering in her thoughts. She glanced at her reflection in the mirror, her heart racing as she wondered if she had crossed a line. Her own feelings confused her, unsure of what the nearly-kiss meant,

Outside, Karishma wiped her bike with growing frustration, "Mujhe kya ho gaya? Madamsir ab kya soch rahi hongi humare baare mein?Agar Santu ne sahi waqt pe nahi chillaaya toh kya hota?" she scolded herself under her breath, still lost in her own thoughts.

She couldn't shake off the warmth of Haseena's breath from the moment, lingering in her mind, as she questioned everything that had almost happened.

Both lost in their spiraling thoughts, unknowingly mirrored each other’s self-doubt and confusion.

After the mental chaos, both Kareena were ready in their uniforms and heading to the station, Haseena, Santu, and Cheetah in the Jeep, while Karishma and Pushpa ji rode on Karishma’s bike.

Later in the afternoon, Karishma left for field duty, trying to distract herself from the earlier moment. Meanwhile Haseena, embracing Urmila's persona, engaged in light banter with Santu and Pushpa ji, teasing Cheetah especially Billu, who had returned after several days due to his Chor association.

Later, Karishma received a call from her informer and rushed to the station. When she arrived, she stopped in her tracks, seeing Urmila (Haseena) teasing Billu by making him dance like Bollywood stars like Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, SRK, Govinda,  Ajay Devgan etc with a baton in hand for the past 45 minutes.

Karishma stood silently, admiring Haseena’s smiling face. Seeing Karishma standing near entrance Pushpa ji and Santu greeted her together, "Jai Hind Madam." The greeting snapped Karishma out of her trance, and she returned, "Jai Hind."

Pushpa ji, with a tone of complaint, said, "Dekha dekha, apni ladli Urmila kaise bechara Billu ko tang kar rahi hai." Santu added, "Haan, Karishma madam, Billu ji kabse dance kar raha hai."

Seeing the duo and Karishma , Billu stopped, hoping for Karishma’s help, but Urmila struck the ground with her baton, forcing him to continue. Billu looked at Karishma's direction with hope for some Karishma.

Karishma moved forward and asked, "Kya chal raha hai?"

In Urmila’s persona, Haseena responded, "Kuch nahi, chatak chandni, merko bahut ubaoo tha toh isse Black Panther ko mene dance karne bola tha."

Pushpa ji retorted, "Toh kaun dance karne ke liye lata se bolegi?"

Billu dramatically exclaimed, "MAA, humne bachao maa ye Urmila pichale 45 minat se dance karne bol rahi hai," and turned to Karishma, "Karishma madam, please ye Billu the spy ko raham dijiye, ye Urmila se bachaavle humny."

Urmila shouted to Billu, "Chup Arey"

Karishma turns to Urmila said, "Aap..." then realizing everyone was around her, she corrected, "Tum zara cabin mein aao, Urmila," and walked toward the cabin.

Haseena widened her eyes, feeling a sense of deja vu ,now Karishma was calling her like this, just as she had called Karishma earlier. And she notice Pushpa ji, Santu, and Billu all shared the same feeling. So silently she followed Karishma to the cabin.

Santu leaned closer to Pushpa ji and whispered, "Pushpee, ye ulta-palta ho gaya, jaise madamsir Karishma madam ko cabin mein bulayengi, waise ab Karishma madam Urmila ko bulayi."

Pushpa ji nodded, "Haan, Santu."

As soon Haseena entered the cabin, and Karishma immediately instructed her to close the door. Karishma then moved to close the window and curtains. Just as Haseena was about to speak, Karishma signaled for her to wait. She stepped towards the door, her voice stern. "Jise bhi oiling checking karni hai, woh line hazari keliye tayari rehna," she declared, her tone firm and commanding.

At her command, everyone quickly dispersed, hurrying back to their respective tasks, eager to avoid becoming the subject of scrutiny from their senior.
