As they reached the location, it turned out to be an old, abandoned godown on the outskirts of the city. The attacker entered through a creaky door, and moments later, another man emerged from the shadows his partner. Haseena and Karishma, concealed behind a stack of crates at a safe distance, observed quietly, their ears attuned to every word exchanged.
The escaped attacker stumbled into the godown, panting heavily. His partner, noticing his disheveled state, frowned and asked sharply, “Kya hua? Tum itne haanf rahe ho aur itne ghabraye kyun ho bahi?”
Still catching his breath, the attacker managed to stammer, “Woh... woh Karishma Singh aur Haseena Malik, unhone mujhe pakad liya tha, main un dono se mushkil se bhaag ke aaya hoon.”
Hearing this, his partner’s expression darkened. He stepped closer, lowering his voice. “Tumne unhe kuch bataya toh nahi, hai na? Aur woh peeche toh nahi hain?”
The attacker shook his head vehemently, his tone defensive. “Nahi! Main kuch nahi bola na woh peeche hain. Par humein dono dhyaan se rehna hoga. Woh bohot tez hain.”
The two men continued speaking in hushed tones, their body language tense, clearly aware of the danger closing in. Each glance and gesture revealed their growing anxiety, hinting at the gravity of the situation.
Haseena’s sharp eyes stayed fixed on the duo as she carefully pulled out her phone and started recording the conversation, hoping to capture anything useful. Karishma crouched beside her, ready for action but following Haseena’s lead.
Suddenly, one of the men received a call on his phone. His expression immediately turned serious as he listened. From his responses, it became evident that the caller was someone with authority likely their boss.
The man spoke, his tone firm yet cautious. “Haan, Captain. Humein samajh gaya. Tab tak hum yahin rahenge aur aapke agle order ka intezaar karenge.”
The call ended, and the man turned to his partner. “Captain ne kaha hai ki chaar din baad woh khud sab sambhalenge. Tab tak humein yahan chup rehna hai aur koi galti nahi karni.”
Karishma leaned slightly closer to Haseena and whispered, "Madamsir, lagta hai yeh captain hi is sab ka mastermind hai. Bas ek order dijiye, abhi in dono se sab kuch ugalwa lete hain."
Haseena raised her hand slightly, signaling Karishma to hold her ground. Her eyes remained focused on the two men. “Karishma Singh, abhi aap kuch nahi karingi. Agar hum mastermind tak pahuchna chahte hain, toh unka agla move samajhna zyada zaroori hai. Humein abhi unhein pakadna nahi, unka pura plan samajhna hai.”
Karishma frowned but nodded, understanding the logic. “Theek hai, Madamsir.
Haseena kept her gaze sharp as she analyzed the situation. The two men seemed increasingly uneasy, glancing around as if suspecting they were being watched. Sensing the need to leave without raising suspicion, Haseena leaned slightly toward Karishma and whispered, “Ab hum yahan se nikalte hain. Chaliye, Karishma Singh.”
Karishma nodded silently, and the two began retreating carefully, ensuring they made no noise. Once outside the godown, they moved quickly but cautiously back to their Jeep they drove back.
Later that night, after duty hours, Haseena and Karishma sat in Haseena’s living room. The remnants of their dinner had been cleared, and the room was dimly lit, the soft glow of the laptop illuminating their determined faces. Papers, files are lay scattered across the table as they delved into their mission.
Haseena tapped a few keys on the laptop, pulling up encrypted files and personnel records related to the mission. Her brow furrowed as she cross-checked the records meticulously.
