18th December 2024
It was December only one week until Christmas and Logan hadn't bought anything for Wade or Blind Al normally he wouldn't be interested in shit like this but Wade didn't know that Logan loved him and he had to show Wade that he cared or atleast confess soon so he had to grab something that Wade would like!
Logan was on the pullout couch early in the morning with Wade directly next to him, snoring softly and mumbling. Logan looked at the digital hello kitty clock on the coffee table
7:59AM
Wade never wakes up until at least 10:30AM or 11AM, so Logan had 2 hours to sneak away and get something for Al, and of course, Wade
Logan got out of the poorly makeshift couch bed and went to the yellow clothes hamper (Wade and Logan have red and yellow clothes hampers for their clothes fun fact Wade goes through Logans clothes sometimes for a hoodie) and dug around for something to wear.
He pulled out a pair of sweatpants, a long sleeve t-shirt, and (as Wade would put it) a sexy leather jacket.
Logan went into the bathroom and got changed he went out to the hallway and checked on the couch, Wade was sprawled out now, taking advantage of the newfound space that Logan left.
Logan smiled a bit and grabbed his wallet and keys on his way to the front door. He looked back at Wade and left the apartment.
He hopped into the (newer non blood covered) Honda Odyssey and made his way to Target.
He arrived and went to the automatic doors that slided open. He knew that if Wade was here, he'd dramatically stick his hand out as if he was using the force to open it, Logan found it funny, and Wade could see him grin out of the corner of his eye.
Logan entered the store and immediately noticed the number of people crowded everywhere. It was cramped.
Logan pushed through the crowd and started thinking of what to do
Al would probably be easier. Maybe I should get her a new voice recognition watch. This place has those, right?
Logan looked around, and yes, they did sell it (idc if it's not there irl it's for the STORY)
Logan grabbed the last watch and looked around to get something for Wade.
What is something that Wade would love? I mean, there's that weird white cat thing he loves? Maybe there's a plushie of that cat Logan thought
Logan looked through the aisles and got to the toy section, searching endlessly until he found it. A hello kitty plush about the size of his hands, which are quite massive, so the plush should seem larger to him than to Logan so he grabbed it off the shelf and noticed a wolverine plush the same size right next to it.
Logan contemplated for a moment, then yanked it off the shelf and walked to the self checkout.
He scanned his items, paid, and walked out of the store.
He drove back to the apartment and checked through the door very carefully, making sure Wade was still asleep and didn't see that he bought him something for Christmas.
