- Matvey -
Feliks sat me down on the bed and leaned in close, placing his hands on the both sides of me. "Matvey.. Shh.. In and out, breathe in... And out..", he said and i tried to mimic his breathing but it was hard. It felt like all the air was gone from my lungs and like a heavy weight was on my chest what made me even more panicky. "Hey hey hey... Shhh.. Shh.. It's ok Matvey", Feliks said, he sat down next to me and hugged me from the side which felt weirdly comforting, even if i had never been hugged by a man other than my father.. The memories of him made me cry.
"Shhhhh.... Shhhh..", Feliks shushed me. He put his chin on my head and rubbed my arm up and down. "Try to breathe trough your nose.. I know i know, it's hard right now but it will help you calm down", Feliks said with a gentle, soothing tone. "Can you feel my heartbeat?" he asked suddenly. I shook my head so he took my hand in his and brought it to his chest, on top of his heart.
I closed my eyes and put all the control i had on myself to focus on his heartbeat.. Thud.. Thud.. Thud.. Feliks's heart beat was calm and collected, strong and firm.
I felt the anxiety slowly pass but Feliks didn't let go of me yet. He suddenly moved, pulling me down on the bed with him. "W-wha- I-is this okay..?" I asked a bit shocked. Feliks nodded. "This is all okay", he said. "It's not like were doing the devil's dance."
I chuckled, feeling a bit better.
