"That's right", i said. "A safe zone", i repeated myself. My heart was still pounding. "W-Where?" Matvey asked. "Not too far away from here, but it's not going to be a safe travel, but it's also our only way to survive", i said even if i knew Matvey already knew that. "Will we go?" Matvey asked. "If we don't have a death wish. We should start going as soon as possible", i reminded and nodded, getting off Matvey's grip a bit hesitantly. Matvey got up from the floor with me and we kissed one more time before starting to pack our things.
A week later we were just walking trough the city when suddenly we noticed.. An army car driving around. "Feliks, you see that?" Matvey asked me and i nodded. I took Matvey's hand and we started running. "HEY! WAIT!" I screamed and as we got behind the corner.. Zombies everywhere. A trap. Just like Ethan, we had stepped into a trap. "Shit!" Matvey cursed and took out his gun and tried to shoot but there were too much of them. And then, a memory i would never forget happened. I could hear Matvey's scream behind me and i turned to look, a zombie! I tried to shoot but Matvey was already laying on the ground.. Bitten. "NO! MATVEY!" I screamed heartbroken and tried to run to him but someone grabbed my arm. "Watch out!" a man yelled and shielded me, a solider.
