Beep beep beep beep beep Nialls alarm went off for him to get up and go to the studio.
Seeing as he wasn't budging you decided to lean over and put it on snooze and give Niall another few minutes to rest.
You knew he had been exhausted lately and last night he seemed pretty tired and quiet, pretty much going to bed straight after dinner.
You snuggled back under the duvet and wrapped your arms around your sleeping boyfriends body spooning him.
You gently placed soft kisses on the back of his neck.
You noticed how unusually warm and clammy Niall's skin felt , soft snores escaping his slightly parted lips and as you examined his face a little closer you noted how pale he looked.
His alarm suddenly distracted you from your thoughts and you sighed quietly, leaning over and switching it off. You figured you should wake Niall up incase he is late for work.
You gently placed a kiss on his cheek and ran a hand through his hair." Niall darling you better wake up, you will be late if not." You said.
He squirmed slightly in your arms before gently opening his eyes.
He let out a groan as he turned over and nuzzled his head into your chest squeezing his eyes shut again and slightly pulling the blanket over his face shivering.
You let him crawl into your arms and cuddle into your chest and you kissed him on the forehead.
"You alright there?" You said running your fingers gently through his hair.
He slowly opened his eyes and looked at you.
"Yeah I'm fine" he rasped out voice broken and scratchy.
You smirked in amusement at the sound of his voice. "You sure" you said.
He let out a few raspy coughs before sniffling slightly. He hesitantly nodded before untangling from your body and swinging his legs over the side of the bed.
He ran his hand through his hair as you watched him. You could read him like a book and you knew instantly that he wasn't feeling well.
He put his head in his hand and coughed harshly again. He shivered and you put your hand out and gently rubbed his back.
"Ugh" he groaned loudly.
"It's cold" he rasped out.
"Darling there's heat radiating off you" you said hoping he doesn't have a fever.
He suddenly let out a loud sneeze into his elbow.
"You don't sound well" you said hoping that he would just admit to his defeat and stay home with you and cuddle in bed.
"Mmm don't feel well" he sighed sniffling.
"Shall I ring in for you love, you look exhausted." You said looking at him with worry in your eyes.
He started at the wall for a moment obviously contemplating weather he is well enough for work or not.
He slowly leaned backwards and took his original place back in your arms.
You smiled lovingly at him and let him crawl into your embrace as you wrapped your arms around him protectively.
"Yes please" he whispered closing his eyes against you.
You felt his forehead confirming your suspicions of a fever.
You noticed him shivering slightly so you grabbed the blanket and pulled it up on him.
You knew he must be feeling pretty rough as Niall is never usually a man to skip work and stay home.
You decided to quickly go grab a thermometer, some water and some cold and flu medicine.
You then returned and sat beside him in bed.
"Niall honey can you sit up for a minute please?" you said gently stroking his hair.
He groaned and mumbled something before opening his eyes and slowly shifting his body to sit up.
