The Volturi along with the Cullens all stood up at the sound of Jane. Althea had been found, they had her location. The kings hearts almost burst out in relief and if they could cry, they sure would've.

"Where is she", said Caius. His fictional heart pounding in anticipation.

"She's in Romania my king. Alec had decided to investigate late last night, he'd briefly smelled her scent. He tracked her down along with two of our coven members. He decided not to engage incase he was outnumbered. He is still there, just waiting to hear back from us", she said it so fast that even a human couldn't have understood, but they did.

"Romania but why would she be-", Marcus began to speak in confusion before his face dropped. "The Romanian coven brothers", he looked at Aro and Caius with understanding. Their faces fell as they began to remember.

"Vladimir and Stefan", said Carlisle. He walked closer to them as he spoke, he too understood the gravity of the situation. Why they decided to kidnap her.

Edward having heard their thoughts sighed as his shoulders sagged. They were screwed.

"The Romanian coven? I don't understand, what would they want", asked Bella.

The kings sighed, they knew what they did. How they got into their position. They simply took the throne. Whether their reasoning for doing it was right or wrong didn't matter, their execution was simply gruesome and grotesque.

"Centuries ago, the Volturi wasn't here. The Volturi didn't exist. Instead, a different coven ruled the vampire race", said Carlisle. The others looked around the room at each other as they started to piece it together.

"The Romanian coven, led by Stefan and Vladimir ruled in Romania, which was once known as Dacia at the time. Unlike the Volturi, their main focus was the physical strength that their coven mates portrayed. They weren't shy about their vampirism or their strength and were quite open about what they were with the humans that resided in Dacia. The humans were trying to leave but they wouldn't let them. Their plan was to eventually let the rest of the humans know of what they were, what we are. And essentially take over the human race and more", continued Carlisle. He knew his history quite well. The Volturi almost treated him as a pet while he was with them years ago. They found amusement in his desire for knowledge. So they were more than happy to let him explore their library.

"We did what we had to do in order to keep us safe", said Caius. His expression was angry.

Carlisle looked over at him before looking at his family, "They took care of the Romanian coven and took over. The only ones left of that coven was Vladimir and Stefan along with just a few of them. They have roamed the earth without their mates ever since. I'm assuming they aren't too happy about that".

"Like hell they are. But it doesn't make it right to do this to Althea. She's pregnant", said Marcus.

Emmett shuffled in place before making a motion with his head as he cleared his throat. Caius looked over at him, his eyes sharp and tense. He was very angry at the revelation of who took his mate and he was trying not to lash out.

"What", he asked.

Emmett looks up in surprise. He had hoped they hadn't seen him. Edward sighs as he looks down, his brother was an idiot.
