The Doctor's Daughter

Chapter 9

He got my hand and kissed it I guess it was some kind of respect thing, he said "follow me Doctor and Phoebe" as we started to walk I asked "Doctor how do you know him?" He said "he came to Gallifray the day the war broke out, he tried to fight along side us but his safety was my priority promised to get him to this planet so he could keep the peace" we arrived at a door and Reoio said "welcome to my home" he opened the door and it was beautiful I asked "wasn't I your priority?" he said "yes you had been put in a escape pod and sent to earth in hyper sleep which put a block in your mind to protect you" I knew he was right, I saw beautiful status I said "who are these statues of?" Reoio said "Gods, Timelords anything that I believe" we walked a bit further as I saw the doctor as a statue I nudged him and said "I think you have a twin" I pointed and we both laughed a little.
Reoio guided to a room he said to us "here is all my prize possessions" we walked passed all sorts from broken down machines to alien parts then we came across something that caught the doctor's eye he walked up to the huge rock and said "is that NightShade? A rock with purple light crystals" Reoio looked surprised and said "yes how did you know?" He said "well looking at the size of it and the light purple marking around the edges sort of easy to guess but the problem is how did you get it and why is it here concealed?" Reoio said "it powers the city without it we rest in darkness" I said "but have you ever seen the stars the planets that are right next you you?" He said "I'm frightened that they would return?" I asked "who? The race you stole this from?" He nodded "the Cleath they are searching for it" the doctor pipped up "so why don't you give it them back?" Reoio ashamed of himself said "I would but I would be arrested for theft by the galactic government" I said "you broke one of the laws and now your making innocent Bello's believe this place is save!" As I finished my sentence we heard whooshing of ships Reoio shouted "oh no they are here no no" we headed out to see the ships start to land one landed near us and by my guess they were the Cleath they stepped out and one walked up to us pointing a gun we held up our hands and said "don't shoot we are more important than you think" it said "state name, race and meaning of travel" the doctor said "The Doctor, Timelord, Visiting an old friend" then he looked at me I said nervously "Phoebe Smith, Timelord, accompanying The Doctor and visiting his friend" he put his gun down and said "my apologies my lords I'm Commander Sayian of the Cleath Army" I asked "Commander why are you here?" He said "to retrieve the NightShade at all costs" Then the doctor asked "but won't a war break out?" He replied "if it comes to that then yes a war will happen also we are here to arrest the criminal who violated the laws" we heard shouting and gunfire the commander loaded his gun and ordered his troops to find the rock we knew it was going to end badly I said "we have to get to the rock before the Belloigans or the Cleath get to it we ran back inside and we saw Reoio start to cower in the corner the doctor shouted "why? Why did you have to steal from the most trained and most armed planet in the universe!" He said "I wanted power I wanted to rule I saw what happened to your world and I wanted to prevent it so I took the NightShade to protect and bring light when there was no sun" we heard shouting then Reoio got up and ran, we headed to the rock as we got there the Belloigans and the Cleath were aiming at each other because they both wanted the rock.

The doctor stood between both armies and shouted to the soldiers of Ballgons and Cleath "this is what your fighting for a giant rock with light crystals inside that's it" he pointed his sonic at the crystals and they started to glow I then shouted "the Belloigans and Cleath shall live in harmony from this day forward!" everyone started to lay down their weapons accepting each other then I saw Reoio he pushed in front of Belloigans and he said "This is my world!" aimed for the doctor but I couldn't bare for him to be hurt as he pulled the trigger I hurled towards the doctor taking the bullet I heard him shout "Noooo" the bullet hit and the pain was unbearable he scooped me up into his arms my legs still on the floor he said "Phoebe it's alright I'm here it's your dad" I looked passed him to see the millions of stars I said struggling to breathe "it's it's beautiful" he said with tears staring to roll "yes it is now hold on we've got things to do you and me, your my daughter and we've only just started" I tried to keep breathing but it was getting harder then I took my last breath and my eyes fluttered shut.
