Danny Pov

I blinked away the drowsiness. I looked over. I can't believe what I was seeing. Kyle was here. He was bouncing Kyleigh on his lap. When he saw me, he handed Kyleigh to Tasha. I slowly staggered to my feet in disbelief. Still not taking my eyes from him. I ran to him and threw myself on him. I wrapped my arms and legs around him. I held him tight and cried. I cried until I felt lightheaded. For months I felt like a part of me had died, but here he is. In the flesh. I had to hold him tight to convince myself that he was real. Dean told me he died. Dean said he burned Kyle's body. "Kyle," I whispered quietly, just in case this was a dream.

"It's me, Danny baby."

When he called me that, I held him tighter and cried harder.

"Kyle, let her go," Dean's voice was piercing through my brain. I hated it. He don't get to take this moment from me. I wouldn't let Kyle go. I still had my arms and legs tightly wrapped around him. The only thing that pierced through my happy fogged brain was my baby. She was yelling, "Ki, Ki,Ki." I laughed. It all made sense now. I looked him in the face. "You couldn't stay away from her could you."

"My protege? No way."

"She almost blew your cover."

"She did well to be so young. It took a lot of coaching for her to be silent. Now she has grown attached and I can't get rid of her. She's spoiled."

I giggled. "Like mother, like daughter. Please don't leave me again, Kyle. I can't let go, Kyle. I'm afraid you'll disappear."

"I'm not going anywhere, Danny."

I unwrapped myself from around him. Kyleigh screamed until Tasha put her down. She ran to Kyle. She looked at him. He looked down at her. He moved his head to the side and Kyleigh mimicked him. Kyle stuck out his tongue and so did she. They both giggled and hugged. So this is why Dean was telling me that she was busy. She was busy being groomed by murderers.

"What did you find out, Kyle?" My grandfather was getting impatient.

"She has a major connection pending. She plans to sell Danny to the highest bidder and she already has the highest bidder."

"Who is she, Kyle?" Kyle looked at Dean then my grandfather. I know he would tell me. Kyle never liked me being in the dark about anything, except who they were, but other than that. Kyle has always been straight with me.

"She's your mother, Danny."

"What? Kyle, that doesn't make any sense. My mother."

"It's true, Danny." I looked over at my grandfather.

He sighed. "Your father and mother had a Romeo and Juliet thing going on. They were on opposite sides of the war. She didn't love him though. She only was using him to further her ties. She was affiliated with an up-and-coming rival clan, but it couldn't happen. America only has 2 sectors. So, their sector got shut down. When that happened, she gave birth to you and left you, vowing to finish the job of her parents and that's creating her own chapter. If she gets some powerful ties to back her. She can become a potential problem."

"Well, she has one. Pending that she can deliver Danny to him. She has Felderman."

"Isn't he running for senator," I asked.

Kyle nodded.

"What does he want with me?"

"He wants you as a fake wife. He's covering up his real lifestyle."

"What's his lifestyle? If it's him being gay. No one cares about that these days. He will definitely get the younger people vote. They are not as conservative as their parents."
