"Everyone find a partner for this project," The teacher's voice rang out. Jisung and Felix of course paired up, as everyone else found their own partners.
Felix looked around, seeing Jisung's soulmate and another guy paired up. He gasped as he realised who it was. The guy without the string.
How had he not noticed him at school before?
"Be right back," Felix said quickly to Jisung, walking over to the two boys.
"Heeeeey," Felix grinned. "Lee Minho right?" He asked the glassed face boy. Minho slowly nodded. "Listen, I wanna switch it up and work with someone besides Jisung this time. Would you mind switching me?"
"You want me to work with Han?" Minho said quietly. "I dont know if-"
"Great!" Felix pushed Minho out of the way, to Jisung. Minho rubbed the back of his neck, walking over to Jisung, who seemed to light up immediately. "That'll do it."
"You just stole my partner," The other groaned.
"Listen, car-hitter, you owe me one." Felix pointed at the guy. "Cant you sense the chemistry between those two?"
He looked over to Jisung and Minho, who seemed to be calmly conversating.
"Uh... I guess I dont." He mumbled.
"So fella, what's your name, anyways?" Felix changed the subject, trying not to glance at the others bare pinkie.
"Seriously Felix? We've gone to school together for two years and you still dont-" The guy paused, rubbing his temples. "Bang Chan. My name is Bang Chan."
"Doesnt ring a.... Oh!" Felix laughed. "I hit you with a dodgeball one time last year!"
"And I hit you with my car this year," Chan mumbled. Felix rolled his eyes.
"Not the same thing!"
"Yeah you're right, my face got bloodied and you came out completely unscathed."
Felix's gaze wandered around the classroom, red stings everywhere. He wished he could just push them out of his eyesight.
"...Did you seriously not listen to a word I said?" Chan groaned. Felix laughed.
"Nope."
