"I finally got his number!" Jisung ran to Felix, waving a paper in the air.

"Yeah, you're welcome," Felix snickered.

"Shush I totally did that myself," Jisung laughed. "Anyways, you're working with a total weirdo for me. What a sacrifice! Gotta say, he's really easy on the eyes!"

"Oh yeah he is," Felix nodded. "He did NOT look that good last year."

Felix rubbed his pinkie finger as he spotted Chan across the hall. He still found it strange that Chan didnt have a string too, just like him. He had never met anyone who didnt have a string, until now.

"Maybe you should get his number!" Jisung said enthusiastically. Felix laughed.

"I already have it. He's the one who hit me with his car."

.

When Felix got home, he slipped on his shoes, walking to his room. Mother must have been out, visiting father's grave.

When Felix was younger, he always wondered what would happen to the strings if one or the other died. Once his father passed, he finally figured it out.

He had a theory that maybe his soulmate had died, hence the reason why he didnt have a string. But after his father passed away, he realised that wasn't the case.

Now, his mothers string went into the ground. Since that is where father is.

He had thought maybe his soulmate was cremated, but it turns out that the sting just turns black and looks as if it was burnt if someone's soulmate was cremated.

He flopped on his bed with a sigh, looking over at his pinkie again.

Usually, he would be happy after a successful matchmaking. But now he just felt... weird. Knowing that someone else out there didnt have a string was strange to him.

He vowed to find out more about this Bang Chan boy.
