Hey, guys! On top is Aria's dress she planned to wear to the beach. This chapter is dedicated to Ashley (@SimpleEllegance) for being so supportive. Read her books, they're great!

I strolled through school, trying to find the bathroom. Of course, I knew where it was, but I wasn't really thinking. I bumped into someone, turning out to be Derek.
"Sorry, didn't see you there." I smiled forcefully, which probably was noticed from him.
"You all right?" He asked me. That was at least the 16th time someone asked me that. And I had given him the same answer.
"I'm fine." He shook his head and laughed. He always seemed cheery and caring, like he totally got me and he tried to make things right.
"You're not fine. Of course you're not fine." I had a lump in my throat and he slightly shifted his head toward the bench, indicating that he wanted to sit down.
Derek examined me. "Something about you is different than others. You just don't know what."
"And you do? Well, tell me what it is." He smirked, obviously showing that he wouldn't tell. I shoved him playfully and got an idea.
"I'm going over to the beach after school to take my mind off of things. Since you're a great distraction, wanna come?" Realizing what I said, I quickly said as he snickered, "No! I mean you know how to distract me."
"Sure. We're just walking, right?" I nodded as Derek got up and walked away, waving. There was something about him that made him different too, I just didn't know what.

After school, I was heading out when Chelsea caught up to me.
"Hey you've got to hear this! My aunt says I'm a witch!" She smiled as I started chuckling at what she said.
"What did you say to her that got her pissed off at you?"
"Nothing! She said that I am a real witch that can do spells and everything." She started to whirl her pencil around like it was a wand.
"Quia Aria foedum est et omnes, eam pulchellus sicut a pupa!" She waited as I tried not to laugh. She crunched her eyebrows. "What the hell did I just say?"
"You just made that up, didn't you?" She shook her head but of course I didn't believe her. I bursted out laughing , I just couldn't help it. "That's funny!"
"I meant to say 'Because Aria is ugly and all, make her as pretty as a doll.'! How did I say that?"
"Shut the fuck up! "A pupa"? That had to be fake." She looked damn serious, but then again, Chelsea can make her look innocent in front of guys, so why not now? I rolled my eyes and left her confused.

"Who the hell just decided to park their stupid motorcycle up our driveway?" I came in the room when my mom was looking out the window, obviously angry.
"Mom, it's probably the new guy: Derek. I guess he thought he was supposed to pick me up." Mom finally calmed down and asked, "You and Ty aren't a thing anymore?"
"No, that was a mistake. And I'm not going on a date. It's just like a get-to-know-you." She raised her eyebrows and crossed her arms across her chest. The doorbell rang, but she wasn't going to let it go.
She stopped me and said, "I'll get it. You just stay put." At first, I didn't understand, but as she walked away, I realized she was trying to scare the guy. Oh, that will not make a good scene.

Derek's P.O.V
The door slowly opened by a pretty 30-year old woman. I found hazel eyes, with her warm brown hair laying on her shoulders, and she obviously didn't like that I was here. I found most of her features had been in Aria. I knew exactly what to say for her to like me.
"Ready to go? 'Cause the sun's about to set and it looks perfect at the beach." I asked and she stared at me with confusion. "That's alright, you would look beautiful in anything." I pulled her hand toward my yellow motorcycle and got on.
"I'm not Aria..." She tried to explain and I laughed.
"Well, I just saw your beautiful face and knew I had to take you out on a date." She blushed at my remark and said, "You're quite the charmer."
"Yes, well, we'd better get going!" I indicated that Aria's mother would have to get on. She stared in shock as I waited and then shrugged, saying "Oh, what the hell?" She got on and held my shoulders, and Aria came out, shocked. "What the hell is going on here?"
Aria looked beautiful in her red summer dress. I was absolutely in love, watching her warm eyes look at me, surprised. Suddenly, I felt eyes glaring at me, and I knew it was Mrs.Myers. I answered Aria's question quickly, "Sorry, I met someone else, and we kinda got to go." She watched as I rid my bike with her mother right behind me.
I know I thought of Candace Accola for Aria, and Paul Wesley for Derek, but if you guys can think of another couple to replace them, I'll totally consider it!
Also, I need someone to think of a cover for my story. I use the computer for Wattpad so I can't create a cover on my own! Thanks!
I know I'm not much known in Wattpad... but I'm working my way. Love you all!
