Aria's POV
It's around seven and I am over at a bar. Yeah, since the date didn't go so well, I decided, why not drink on my problems? Chelsea came with me, for she also had problems of her own. She was now totally drunk, while I only had a few sips of my drink. Another four guys came in and ordered their drinks, but I couldn't help but stare at the blonde one, who was the cutest out of all of them.
"Ohhh my god, now he isn't even noticing me! Ugh, when I go try to talk to him, he is ignoring me!" Chelsea exclaimed, which I understood now she was talking about Jason.
"Get over him Chelsea! He obviously has gotten over you!" Now, I'm bad at pep talk, so I just say things that I think would help me if I were in her situation. I checked my pocket for texts, but my cell phone wasn't there. Shit! Now how am I supposed to call a cab? I looked over and saw the cute guy had a phone in his front pocket. I decided I was going to have the courage to say something.
I tapped him on the shoulder, and said," Hi, I'm sorry, I left my phone at home. Is it ok if I use yours to call someone?"
He seemed annoy by this, because he turned his head and looked me right in the eyes, and says "I'm a little busy, so shut up and have two more glasses of your drink and be on your way.
At first, I scoffed, because this was totally not what I was hoping for! I decided I wasn't gonna let him get away with the remark, so I said with disgust, "I don't need your help to get home." Suddenly his head shot up and stared at me, like he totally did not expect me to say that.
"I'm sorry, I didn't realize I was talking to a beautiful lady." He said. Wow, did not expect that! "It's just that I've had a bad day and I guess I'm grumpy."
"Um, alright, it's fine."
"My name is Alex. Now, what does a lady like you doing here in this bar?" He said with a smirk.
"Bad date... or something like that." I should've felt uneasy since he suddenly seemed interested in me, but I couldn't help but talk to him.
"That's exactly why I don't date. You always end up separating." I guess he had some past that led him to believe that.
"That's not always the case. Someday, we both will find-" I was interrupted by Chelsea's complaints.
"Oh god, will you two shut up? My head is hurting and you both keep yapping away, making it worse." Chelsea wasn't herself at all. It was for sure time to go home.
"Listen, it was nice meeting you, but I have to go." I took my bag and held Chelsea, when he handed me his phone.
"Go ahead and call a cab." I quickly called one and when I was done, I saved my number with my name on it.
"My number's on there. If you're bored, just text me!" Chelsea was already outside, so I hurriedly took off.
************************************************************************************************
She meets a cute guy at the bar! Ok, it seems cliché, but that's life, no?
Now, I'm bored, so if you've found the one (or think you have), comment where you have met them. And if you haven't, where do you hope to meet them?
Selamat tinggal! (Malay)
