Chapter 32 I miss you

Soomi's POV

- A week later -

I was staring at the window when the ring bell, announcing lunch time.

I heard chair moving in the background and some people shifting on their seat as they engage a discussion with their friends, hurrying to go to the cafeteria. And here I am, still looking at the window.

"Soomi !" A female voice called me and I abruptly turn my head - as I went out of my reverie - and look at my best friend "You're coming ?" she said waving her hand at me as she stood in front of the door, stepping on the side when one of my classmate glare at her for blocking the way.

(A/N : You probably don't remember but Soomi has 3 best friends : Jiyeon, Yura and Namjoon)

I nod and stood up then quickly put my stuff in my bag.

"What took you time ?" Jiyeon ask when I came out the classroom.

"Oh you know, I was just looking outside" I said shrugging

"Day dreaming again huh ?" she said elbowing me and a smirk appears on her face. "You seem to do that a lot these day, I wonder what are you thinking about, or might I say who" she said winking at me and I roll my eyes but smile at the same time.

"Shut up"

"Omo, you're blushing" she said smirking even more.

I put my hand on my cheek and walk faster to avoid her but she only start laughing.

I didn't push people on my way but I was slaloming between the other students as I past through the hallway and let me tell you that some of them were looking at me weirdly.

When I past the cafeteria's door, Min and Fei hollered me and I apologize to some person as I past in front of them in the line and join Min and Fei.

"Hey" I greet them

"Hey, how was your morning ?" Min ask

"Boring" I said pouting

"Same" Fei said patting my shoulder "Where is Jiyeon ?" she then ask

"Huh... she'll arrive in few seconds"

"I thought you were coming together" Min said frowning

"Yeah but I kinda lost her on my way" I said and they raise their eyebrow.

"Hey girls" Jiyeon suddenly said and I turn to look at her.

"Oh hey, we were just wondering where you were" Min said.

"I was just in mood to walk slowly, enjoying the hallway you know" she said smirking at me and I look away. "Anyway, where are the guys ?"

"I don't know, they might arrive soon" Fei shrug.

Once we bought our food, we sat down at out usual table and start eating.

"Hey guys" Jiyeon said after a moment, I didn't have to lift my head to know that she was talking to NamJoon and Yoongi "What's wrong ?" she ask.

"NamJoon has a crush" Yoongi teased.

"What ?! No !" NamJoon said, practically shout.

"Heh, don't give me that look, it's so obvious you like her" Yoongi continue.

"Never"

"What girl are you talking about ?" Min inquired.

"There is a new girl in our class and guess what ? She's the new partner of NamJoon for a project. We started working on it today but we could only heard both of them shouting in class" Yoongi explained.
