UTF Orbital/Planetary Defense weapons

1. Longspear Planetary Defense Cannon: Longspear Planetary Defense Cannon is the gigantic cannon that purposely to defend any incoming enemy starships entering the planet surface and to prevent enemy orbital bombardment. The Longspear used highly powerful plasma projectile capable to destroy enemy starships in single shot.

2. AATIS Planetary Defense Cannon: AATIS, stand for Anti-Air Targeting Interception System or more commonly known as Iron Shield, is the planetary defense platform whose task to defend UTF colonies from incoming enemy starships and to prevent any enemy orbital bombardment. Unlike the Longspear, AATIS is equipped with powerful Railgun cannon, each capable of inflicting massive damage upon a warship. The guns are known to be mounted upon floating platforms. It appears that the guns can retract inside their platforms when not in use. An area protected by the AATIS weapons was apparently impenetrable to direct assault by any spaceship. The weapons are positioned in a recoiling mount, as they produce substantial recoil when firing. The guns are also shown to be capable of firing surprisingly fast for their size, firing two to three shots in just a few seconds.

3. Telikos Orbital Railgun Cannon Platform: One of the heaviest orbital defense platforms in use by the Unified Terran Federation, Telikos orbital railgun cannon platforms use gravitic mass acceleration technologies to put a variety of slugs down range at high enough c-frac velocities to make even vaunted super heavy capital ships be afraid of these platforms. However, they are also capable of using smaller rounds to generate a higher rate of fire, though at less individual damage per shot.

4. Ion Cannons: A form of armament that fired ionized particles capable of disrupting electronic systems. They are so powerful that they can disable even the largest of enemy warships, leaving them vulnerable to open attack.
