A few hours later, the excitement of the spa day is finally upon me. I can't help but feel lighter as I make my way out of the house, the sun already high in the sky and the world outside bustling with energy. The thought of having a day to unwind with the girls is exactly what I need to clear my head. After everything that's happened lately, I deserve this.
I hop into the car when Anna pulls up, the girls already laughing and talking in the backseat. Celeste is slouched in the passenger seat, she's already in full relaxation mode.
"Ready to get pampered, ladies?" Anna asks, glancing at all of us with a smile.
I nod enthusiastically, feeling the weight of the past few days slowly fade away. "Absolutely. I need this more than I can put into words."
The spa is as luxurious as expected, and as soon as I step inside, I'm hit with the soothing scent of essential oils and the calming sounds of gentle music. The whole atmosphere is designed to make you forget the world outside, and I let myself be enveloped by it.
