I am pulled out of sleeps warm hold when i feel a vibrating weight on my chest. As i open my eyes i am met with the bright yellow eyes of my cat, Regaliz, staring back at me. Early morning light filters through my room and i groan, stretching out my muscles while still trying not to bother the purring feline on my chest.
Regaliz hops off my chest anyway, settling herself onto the space of blanket next to me. I smile at the kitty as i grab my phone and open Instagram.
"smile" i whisper as i snap a picture of the sleeping cat.
