New Eden, 2159
The Underground's command center buzzed with activity. Allies gathered, determined to bring down Erebus.
Payton's eyes scanned the intel on her screen. "Erebus has tripled patrols and guards at HQ since Lena's rescue."
Nexus's expression hardened. "We expected this."
Paxton nodded. "Makes our job tougher, but not impossible."
Zero's gaze locked onto the mission objective. "We need a new plan."
Dr. Taylor's medical drone hovered, monitoring the team's vital signs.
Lena's voice filled with conviction. "We can't give up. Phoenix's sacrifice won't be in vain."
Nexus stood, pacing the room. "We need a vulnerability, a weak point."
Zero's fingers flew across her keyboard. "I'm analyzing Erebus's security grid... Ah-ha!"
"What is it, Zero?" Nexus asked.
"Erebus's HQ has a maintenance tunnel, unused and unmonitored. It's our way in."
Nexus's eyes lit up. "That's our entry point."
Paxton nodded. "I'll take care of the tunnel's security cameras."
Zero volunteered, "I'll handle the interior patrols."
Dr. Taylor's eyes locked onto the team. "Medical drone will provide cover."
Lena's determination hardened. "I'll help Payton hack into Erebus's systems."
Nexus outlined the plan. "Paxton takes care of cameras. Zero handles patrols. Dr. Taylor provides medical support. Lena and Payton hack into systems. I'll lead the infiltration."
Just as the team finalized their plan, Payton's eyes widened.
"What's wrong?" Nexus asked.
"Elite squad units deployed," Payton said. "Erebus has sent It's best hunters to track and eliminate us."
Paxton's face set in a grim expression. "We'll need to move fast."
Zero's voice turned cold. "We'll take them down."
Nexus's gaze swept the team. "Adjusting plan. We'll split into two teams. Paxton and Zero take care of the elite squads. Lena and Payton handle hacking and support. Dr. Taylor provides medical backup. I'll lead the infiltration."
The team nodded, adapting to the new challenge.
Infiltration just got a lot more complicated.
