They had a lovely nap, waking refreshed. They sat in the kitchen, having a snack and a coffee before heading out to get Jamie. Autumn had text them letting them know the jurors had retired to consider their verdict. Siobhan wondered how long they would be before they were return a verdict. A frown appeared between her eyebrows. Vivian leaned over and kissed her brow.

'What are you thinking about love?' she asked softly. Siobhan sighed.

'Just wondering how long they will be before we know the verdict.' She said with a grim smile. Vivian covered her hand on the table with her own.

'Whatever happens, we will face it together.' Vivian replied simply popping a grape into her mouth. 'Finish your food Bon Bon. You need to regain your strength.' Siobhan grinned at her.

'Well, I wouldn't have to build myself up if you didn't wear me out so much.' She winked at Vivian.

'I think, Miss Serpent, you'll find it was you who started it.' Vivian put her hand on her hip, looking mock stern.

'Didn't hear you complaining.' Retorted Siobhan, she leant over and kissed her again before standing up to clear the table. She stood washing the plates in the sink when she felt Viv's arms come around her waist. Viv kissed her neck, Siobhan tilting her head to the side.

'Viv,' she groaned, 'we don't have more time for distractions.'

'But you are a wonderful distraction.' Viv said, pressing one more kiss before leaving her to tidy up.

They walked into the nursery hand in hand to be met by a smiling Marjorie.

'Hello my loves!' She called. They smiled, Siobhan blushed a little.

'You look a lot better than yesterday,' Marjorie continued.

'I feel a lot better.' Siobhan replied.

'Yes, you do,' muttered Vivian under her breath, Siobhan elbowed her discretely. Marjorie turned to Viv.

'Pardon,' she said innocently.

'Nothing Marjorie, how are you? How's Reece coping?' Viv asked.

'He's doing ok, I suppose. On edge while we wait. Like everyone.' Marjorie replied. 'Jamie's had a good day, I saw him making mud pies in the garden earlier, you may have some washing to do!'

Both Siobhan and Vivian smiled. 'Sounds like he's had a ball.' Viv replied. 'We'll go and get him now.'

'Actually,' Marjorie stopped them, 'Siobhan, can I have a word?' Siobhan looked a little worried.

'I'll grab him Bon Bon and be back in a mo.' Vivian said.

'Sure,' Siobhan answered quietly. Vivian left and Siobhan looked quizzically at Marjorie. 'What's the problem Marjorie?' she asked.

'No problem!' Marjorie held up her hands. 'Reece and Autumn wanted to know what your plans were after the court case?'

Siobhan looked worried, 'Um, I don't know, er,' She stumbled and stuttered. Marjorie took pity on her.

'You don't have to answer now.' She said, 'they want you to know that they would love you to stay with the nursery no matter the outcome.'

Siobhan released the breath she was holding. She gave a small smile to Marjorie. 'I would love to stay Marjorie.'

'Great,' said Marjorie clapping her hands, 'I'll let them know.'

Just then the cry of Mummy! Could be heard down the hall. Siobhan turned and saw Jamie running towards her down the corridor. She immediately knelt down and opened her arms. Jamie flew into them, almost knocking her over. She stood up with him in her arms as he gave her a big kiss on her cheek. 'Hello Mummy,' he said with a grin.
