“I can’t believe you’d really come after me all by yourself, green Seitenger. Are you ready to meet Death?” Otoguri sneered.

But SeitenEarth just scoffed and soon after that, threw an energy blade attack to the Triske Monster. Otoguri didn’t have time to dodge it, but it managed to block the attack and throw it away. He soon saw that it hit an invisible wall. He already expected that Otoguri would already begin creating an illusory space the moment the monster saw him approaching. But he didn’t expect it to be done so fast.

“Just as Helen said… this monster was targeting me…” SeitenEarth murmured. He took a deep breath right after and poised to a fighting stance with his Hyakureider.

“Even if you prepare to fight like that, you’ll never be able to defeat me and my illusions, green Seitenger.”

Seriously, this Triske Monster’s taunting was enough to irritate him. Then again, every Triske Monster they fought had done the same thing. But perhaps this was the first time the enemy’s words were enough to truly tick him off.

Before long, a shockwave hit SeitenEarth that nearly threw him off the ground. But he managed to stay where he was with the help of his Hyakureider that he plunged to the ground as his support. He had to stay firm or he would be defeated again before he knew it.

Especially since he was aware that Otoguri could show him illusions coming from… the victim’s greatest fears.

Wait… That was what Akira had mentioned before, right? He understood it when he recalled that the Triske Monster showed him his injured and unconscious friends as if they were already dead. But what about that little girl who turned out to be Helen?

“From my greatest fears… Then all this time… Is it possible that I already knew what lies ahead for Helen? Could I have felt it even before I realized it?” SeitenEarth muttered as he stood up and sensed his surroundings.

He already realized that Otoguri used that shockwave as a distraction to hide itself from him. But that doesn’t mean he was defenseless. He just needed to strengthen his mind so that he wouldn’t fall into any of the Triske Monster’s illusions again.

Of course, something could still happen that was beyond his expectations. So he really needed to be careful. Not to mention, there was no knowing when or how his teammates would be able to get past through the barrier and him finally discovering the source of that retained illusion from the last time.

“I’ll be fine… I can get through this, and I know it…” It could be just his way of trying to overcome the stress of trying to figure out Otoguri’s plan before it could start attacking him.

In any case, he could use it as a mantra in the meantime. Just until the answers he was looking for as he decided to fight Otoguri all by himself.

Outside of the barrier that Otoguri put up to deal with SeitenEarth alone, the four other Seitengers dealt with foot soldiers after foot soldiers using their Hyakureiders and even the others decided to summon their personal weapons. They needed to strengthen their fighting tactics, after all. Especially now that Otoguri had summoned two new sets of foot soldiers.

They were all still trying to figure out the combat capabilities of the new sets of foot soldiers. By far, they noticed that they were larger, different in color, and would also throw elemental attacks. Mainly acid water and magma-like fire.

Even with those observations, SeitenFire mainly dealt with them with the help of his Lion Motor that he missed using again since his battle with Motross. If he was to be honest, it was faster that way, not giving the enemies a slight chance to strike back at him.
