I Have a Girlfriend
“Hi Mark. I'm here!” says Eli-chan who is waving her hand like a young girl who saw her playmate she hasn't met for a long time.
I use both of my hands to stop her from crashing to me, yet I still feel her crazy strength through the pressure running from my palms towards my shoulder blade.
“Eli-chan, you're way too excited,” I say with a wry smile.
“Eh? But I miss you,” she tilts her head in response, and a portion of her brown bangs hits her eyelashes causing it to flutter. Her orange brown eyes shimmers as the sunlight meets it.
I pinch her soft cheeks, admiring it's incredible tenderness. I remind her, “We've been chatting 'till midnight though.”
“I'm not satisfied with it,” she puffs her adorable cheeks.
“If you can't be satisfied by this, why don't you just live with me then?” I say jokingly.
“Really?!” Eli-chan, however, takes it seriously. She says, about to sprint away, “Then I'll go home and pack up now.”
“Wait!” I immediately grab her arm. But she still managed to drag me for a few steps. She's really strong. Like abnormally strong.
“What's wrong?” she asks genuinely confused.
“I was being ironical,” I answer.
“You don't want me to?” she looks into my eyes clearly disappointed.
“Don't look at me with eyes like that. It's not like I don't want to, it's just that we can't.”
“So you don't really want it!” she's upset.
“Are you listening to me?” I ask while clasping her face.
“........” she pouts her lips.
“Nevermind. Let's set that aside for now. We still have a date waiting for us after all,” I try to divert her attention.
“Right! Hehehe. Let's go!” she immediately becomes happy like as if she wasn't sulking just literally a second ago.
We enjoy walking around the city, holding each other's hands, and enjoying one another's company. We decided to take a rest on a stone bench under the shade of an oak tree.
Without saying anything, I rest my head on Eli-chan's lap as she kneads my forehead. Her breast is blocking half the view of the blue sunny sky. But it's not really a problem.
“Do you want to drink something?” she asks me after a while. I wasn't feeling it earlier but now that she asks, I begin to feel the dryness of my throat.
“I'll buy us a cola,” I say.
“No! Let me do it. You stay here,” Eli-chan stops me from getting up
“Alright then. Please spoil me.”
“Hehehe. I will,” she walks away while having a satisfied expression plastered on her face. Looking at her carefully, it can be seen that she's jumping very slightly for every step she takes.
She's really excited.
Well, that's nice.
*Swoosh~*
The wind blows and I close my eyes feeling it on my skin. I feel sleepy.
“Hmm.”
But the breeze is suddenly blocked by something. It's instead replaced by few presences. I can see shadows covering the light at the back of my eyelid.
