Chapter - 22

After the incident, Wang Yibo was hospitalized for a few days after the incident at school. The criminals which Yibo injured barely survived and Liu Ming lost his right eye.

The parents of the criminals tried to file a case against Yibo for assault but thanks to Yibo's locket and watch which had a mini camera and a microphone recorded the whole incident and Yibo was proven innocent.

Wang Yang wanted to punish the criminals but the criminals were underage and from wealthy families like that. They were sent to jail but came out after a few days because of their background.

To save Yibo's reputation, Wang Ren explained what happened in the school to Xiao Shen and Song Ming and together they tried their best erase the evidence of the incident.

After the incident, Yibo started to have nightmares every night and couldn't sleep alone. He would startled if someone touched him even if the person was his father or his mother.

Yang was worried about Yibo's health and studies so he decided to send Yibo abroad as he didn't want to take any risk to admit Yibo in any school of the country in fear of Yibo meeting the criminals again. After careful thinking, Yang took Yibo abroad and admitted in a prestigious school. But he didn't let Yibo stay in hostel as he knew that Yibo would be uncomfortable in the hostel sharing an apartment with other boys. So, he bought a penthouse for Yibo.

Yibo didn't want to go to abroad and didn't want to stay away from his family but he didn't have any choice as his parents arrange everything for him. But he was happy that his mother would stay with him.

At that time, Yang's political career was improving so he couldn't leave the country so Wang Yubi stayed with Yibo in abroad. She would take Yibo school regularly and pick him up. She would take Yibo to see a psychiatrist to improve Yibo's mental health.

Everything was going well untill a few months later, Yubi decided to return to China as Yibo was doing well now and took care of her career and took care of her other children.

Yibo didn't want to be left alone. From childhood, he hated to stay alone and after the incident, he was scared of staying alone even though his mental health was improving and he didn't have nightmares anyone. But still he didn't want to stay alone.

Yubi didn't try to understand Yibo. She thought that Yibo's mental health had improved so he could leave alone. Besides, she had other children beside Yibo to take care of.

Yibo literally begged Yubi to not left Yibo alone. He even said that he was ready to return to China but Yubi didn't try to understand him. So, Yibo was left alone.

After Yubi left, Yibo started to have nightmares again. He couldn't sleep all night but he did tell his parents about it. He begged twice in his life in vain so he didn't want to beg for anything. Fortunately, Yibo had became friends with Wang Dylan who was both his neighbor and classmate and Wang Jili who was his classmate. With the both of them, his life was barrable.

Yang or Yubi would come to meet Yibo monthly to take Yibo to psychiatrist. Yibo would pretend that he was fine, he was improving but he became distance with his parents. He stopped clinging to his parents. He never told his parents to stay longer with him or take him with them.

At first year of abroad, Yang would take his family to Yibo to celebrate special occasions. With time, his parents' visiting started to get less and they would send Yibo gifts. But Yibo never complained and just politely thanked his parents.

Yibo made up his mind to follow his grandfather's words. If no one was with you, you have to stay strong, stand up for yourself and protect yourself. So, Yibo decided to stay strong, stand up for himself and protect himself. He would never lowered his self-respect again and beg for anything in his life. He would get what he wanted by hook or by crook and he would never let go anyone if someone try to harm him to the slightest.
