Chapter - 24

In Xiao Empire

Xiao Zhan was working on a file when Wang Xuan rushed into the room without permission. Zhan frowned and was about to scold Xuan but Xuan stopped him.

"Scold my later. First see this." Xuan said and handed his phone to Zhan.

Zhan frowned in confusion and took the phone from Xuan. He stared at the  phone which showed the page of hot topics on Weibo.

"See the last three." Xuan said and Zhan moved his eyes on the last three trending topics and started to read those.

48. CEO of Wang Empire, Wang Yibo tired to commit suicide.

49. Finance Minister Wang Yang left the meeting and rushed to the hospital.

50. Idol Wang Yixi left the shooting spot in a hurry and rushed to the hospital to see his brother.

Zhan was shocked after reading the trending topics on Weibo. He stared at Xuan with a questioning look on his face.

"I was checking the trending topics on Weibo and come to this. Do you really think Wang Yibo tried to commit suicide?" Xuan asked and Zhan shook his head.

"I don't think Wang Yibo will attempt something like this." Zhan said.

"Last night, Wang Yibo wasn't looking well. Minister Wang himself came to take him home. It seems that something happened in Wang family." Xuan said.

"Even if something really happened in Wang family, Wang Yibo wouldn't take any stupid step. He is strong and calculating person and this type of people values their lives the most." Zhan said.

"But this news is trading on Weibo for a while. Although many people didn't see it yet but still it is already on the trading list. Besides, the pictures clearly showed that Wang Yibo was really taken to the hospital and the whole Wang family rushed there." Xuan said.

"You are right. But there is something suspicious. This thing doesn't seem to happen long ago but it is already on the trading list. I am sure someone bought the trending list while targeting the Wang family or should I say that person is targeting Minister Wang. As far as I understand Minister Wang, this news would vanished as soon as he saw the news." Zhan said and refreshed the trending topics. He read the trending topics again and smirked.

"See, there is nothing about Wang Yibo or the Wang family in the trending list. Minister Wang has done his work. It's not easy to target the Wang family." Zhan said as he showed the phone to Xuan.

"You are right. But I am still wondering. Did something really happened to Wang Yibo? Aren't you worried about him?" Xuan asked curiously.

"I don't care about him." Zhan said and looked away. Then he started to work again and ignored Xuan. After that Xuan sighed and left the room.

When Xuan left the room, Zhan stopped working. He was indeed worried about Wang Yibo but didn't want to admit it.

Zhan took out his phone from the table and called someone. He talked for a while before hanging up the call.

In the hospital

Wang Yang and Wang Yubi was sitting in front of Wang Yibo who was sleeping with a IV fluids attached on his hand. Meng Ziyi came and checked him. Then she took Yang and Yubi to her chamber.

"Is everything alright?" Yubi asked.

"Everything is fine. He just had fever and stomachache which is not surprising based on his unhealthy lifestyle." Ziyi said and sighed.
