Chapter - 14

Two weeks later

Two weeks passed since the day Xiao Zhan went to meet Wang Yibo in Wang Empire. Since then Zhan and Yibo didn't interact with each other but they dating rumors didn't died down like last time. Well, Yibo didn't let the matter cool down.

Yibo made up some stories and posted it on Weibo with his and Zhan's edited pictures like shippers. When his family would ask about it, he would cleverly deny it while shifting the blame to either Zhan or their enemies.

Wang Ren was getting frustrated with this dating rumors. He wanted to solve it as soon as possible and announced about Zhan and Wang Xing's marriage so that the rumors about Yibo and Zhan would be proven wrong. But Xiao Shen didn't want to announce the marriage so soon.

Shen had been observing the situation very kneely. He noticed that with the dating rumors of Zhan and Yibo, both of Xiao Empire and Wang Empire's share value had been increasing.

Although not any of the company had made any official announcement about the collaboration, many started to make stories like: Zhan and Yibo had been secretly dating and would soon collaborate so that they could be together. Others said, Zhan and Yibo were using the social media to let their families know about their relationship. There had many many other colorful stories had been spreading on the social media.

Shen had met Yibo a few times in Song Farmhouse over past two weeks. They met coincidentally and bond quite well as both of them loved spots and games. Shen tried to test Yibo to see if he was behind the rumors or not but he couldn't find anything suspicious. He also tried to see if Yibo was purposely becoming close to him but no it wasn't the case as Shen himself took the step to become close to Yibo.

It was pure coincidence when one day Yibo went to play in Song Farmhouse. That day he was quite frustrated because of workload. So, after work, he went to Song Farmhouse.

Song Farmhouse was full of games and sports. Yibo often go there and no one questioned him as Song Ming gave him the permission.

Yibo was practicing shooting when Shen came there. Both of them were startled and felt awkward. Yibo politely greeted Shen and wanted to left from there as he was afraid that Shen would ask him about the rumors. But to his surprise, Shen started to talk him about Yibo's shooting.

Slowly they talked for a while and felt at ease. Shen got to know that Yibo was there to relieve his stress through gaming and was impressed as most of the people chose drinking to relieve stress but Yibo chose gaming. So, Shen taught him to play poll game.

Yibo learned really quick which impressed Shen more. Since then they often met at Song Farmhouse to play games. Yibo took this silver opportunity to impress Shen because Shen was the head of Xiao family so if he could impress Shen then he could achieve his goal easily.

While Yibo was busy with his work and plannings of marrying Zhan, Zhan was getting busy and frustrated with the work of two companies and Chen Ling.

Chen Ling had been questioning Zhan about his and Yibo's relationship. Zhan denied it and explained the situation to her. But he didn't tell her that Yibo was doing it to marry him. But Ling didn't seems to understand at all.

Besides Ling, Xiao Wei also making things difficult for Zhan. Wei would always keep an eye on Weibo and if something related to Zhan about Yibo came out, he would confront Zhan.

Zhan had been tired to answering his family members and Ling that he didn't have anything with Yibo but they didn't believe it.

Zhan couldn't help but curse Yibo for his messed up life. Although Yibo had stop pestering him, but he was still able to make his life miserable.
