As we got back to a settled mode, the storm started raging a little less now. I had even got some shut-eye in the long run. It started to get a little ebut more quiet now. So I asked my dad "dad can we go up and see whats gone wrong?" He replied "yes sure son". My mon also tuned in and said "ill also join, im as curios as you two". As we went up, i saw quite alot of glass broken. Very little glass in our house broke. Thankfully, the car was also alright, as it was parked in the garage. But a few metal did dent the garage door and it eventually got in and scratched our car. But it was minor and could easily be buffed out. My mom was in utter shock, as this was her first tornado. It was almost pitch black, as the clouds were still above us and it was about 8:00pm. We then walked around our block to see overturned cars, houses without roofs, roads which have turned to rubble and lots of uprooted trees and bushes. It was almost like World War 2 and the holocaust had happened together. My dad remarked "the reason why i always invest so much into safety's is because these disasters wreak havoc on everyones lives" while passing a house which had been almost uplifted from its land. So from then, my mind had set a goal. I had set a goal to be focusing only on safety of my future family rather than decorative stuff. I felt something off about one of the houses. I informed my dad about that feeling and we went to check out the house which is pointed out. It was a red house with a black roof and almost all windows shattered with glass everywhere. My dad said "you are not to go in that house, son. It has glass almost all over the place!" He remarked as we started to walk back to the place. " i saw someone in the corner of my eye. I blurted out "theres someone over there !" My dad and mom had also noticed it and we started running towards whatever it was. As we arrived, it also started running towards us. It turns out it was another survivor! We questioned where is his house. He replied "it's in the far corner". As we walked with him, we learnt some facts about him.
