The tornado night

The realisation of a tornado

It was all good until, we got an alert of a tornado which was expected to strike tomorrow night at 7:00pm on the 21 August. And I was at school and it was lunchtime. That time I had a phone so I called up my dad with the teachers permission. He was shocked and after he confirmed, we got permission to head back home right then and there. My father came back from work early, since all people had to evacuate. We got to work by boarding off windows and doors with the leftover wood from the fireplace. As my family was a lover of dogs, we ventured out on the streets in search of 3 dogs to comfort us. We could see the rainstorm clouds approaching. We got the 3 dogs in and then we evacuated the house. I then got tasked to get all the supplies. I got myself a basket and went all around the house gathering supplies. I even got some learning supplies to keep up with school. The next few minutes was chaos for our neighbourhood and the whole city.
