The tornado night

The tornado strike

After 10 minutes, the tornado striked our city. We could hear the tornado approaching the city by the sounds of car alarms and, wind whirling and the people shouting and dogs barking. We switch to the news channel on and we saw whats going on in other places. "Lots of chaos around the city and we recommend hiding in a bathroom bathtub, a basement if you have one and if you have time then drive as far as you can! If you ever need advice for getting supplies its recommended to get as many food, drinks, medical supplies and a few games as you may never know how much time it will take for the rescuers to find you". "Thats what was coming on the news!" I said not too panicked about it, by the advice i always hear of : "Always be calm, as that will resolve everything". My father was surprised by my calmness and said "your quite calm son! You are just like me, cool and calm but still courageous". Then i had started to look outside the periscope to see whats going on outside in our area. I saw heavy wind and 2-4 cars flying towards tornado. Then i saw one person screaming and another car got lifted up. It started to lift up 5-7 trees and bushes. It started to get dark, so i closed the windows and the basement hatch. Next, I used a device used to check the EF of the tornado. It showed EF 2. I told my mom and dad "its a strong tornado! It can shatter windows, it can roof tiles, billboards can tear down and sheds or barns might collapse. Thankfully they are not as bad as an EF4 tornado. I thought in my mind "should I go up and check whats going on?" I immediately said no, which is kind of obvious that i don't want to lose my life out of curiosity. Then suddenly I heard a more scary sound. I heard a sound of like 10-15 police car sirens passing by then suddenly all the noise disappeared. I look out the window and saw, that to my horror, they had beed sucked up into the tornado. I told my mom and dad, and they too, got shocked by it. The dogs were also frightened to the core. My dad huddled with one dog while i huddled with the other two dogs. I had only been in the basement 1 times before. And that was also bot allowed due to it being an emergency an emergency shelter. I got permission from my parents and began to explore around.
