The tornado night

Slowly settling

There really wasn't anything much interesting to my 7 year old eyes. Then, the skies  started clearing up quite a bit. So we decided to shift back up. I started to pit everything back up. It already started to slowly get more brighter. While we slowly started shifting the casual supplies upstairs, we saw that people started to slowly return back to their home. I saw one family who was shocked after seeing their home mostly intact. Thankfully, we had lots of money to use for the repairs of the house. As we got everything done, i asked my mom and dad if we can perhaps use remake the emergency bunker more better-looking. They said that they were also considering that and they might do it after everything completely settles down. Then i saw another family who lives right next to our house, stare jaw-dropping at pur intact house. I honestly felt had for that family, whose house was completely destroyed, other than one of their washrooms on the ground floor. We got the television up and checked if there were still connection after the tornado. It somehow worked, so we checked the news. It said "the tornado has thankfully passed the city of Popcartia! And the major city also has been fully affected by it. The schools will be closed till the 1st of September for repairs to the city". There was a rush of excitement inside myself as i heard the news. I saw at the corner of my eye, my parents grinning at me. I know it was for the school closing, which was why they were grinning. I could obviously see that they were grinning, so i said playfully, "stop grinning". But they giggled a bit instead. That added a charm to me. Which was when I realised, the chaos was over!
