A few months passed, and Izuku's belly had grown large, her pregnancy well into its later stages. Katsuki was at the company, deeply engrossed in a meeting with Todoroki, Kirishima, and Shinso to discuss important deals with their co-businesses.
Meanwhile, Denki and Rody took on the responsibility of taking Kazui to kindergarten, their playful banter keeping Kazui entertained on the way.
Back at the mansion, Izuku was in the nursery room. She stood in the doorway, admiring the space. The soft pastels, the carefully arranged toys, and the crib gave her a sense of peace and excitement for the arrival of her baby. She placed a hand on her belly and smiled, feeling the gentle movements of the little one inside her.
Izuku (to herself): "You're going to love it here, little one. Kazui can't wait to meet you, and... I just know your daddy will spoil you endlessly."
As she moved around the room, she felt a sudden sharp pain. Her breath hitched, and she instinctively grabbed the edge of the crib to steady herself. A moment later, she noticed something alarming-her water had broken.
Panic began to set in as the realization hit her.
Izuku (muttering, trying to stay calm): "Okay, okay... Just breathe. You need help."
She reached for her phone and dialed Guilio, knowing he was in the mansion overseeing household matters.
Guilio arrived almost immediately, concern etched on his face.
Guilio (alarmed): "Izuku! What's wrong?"
Izuku (breathing heavily): "It's... it's time, Guilio. My water broke. I need to get to the hospital."
Guilio nodded, his calm demeanor taking over.
Guilio: "Alright, don't worry. I'll get the car ready and call Katsuki. Can you walk, or do you need help?"
Izuku (nodding, wincing slightly): "I can walk... just slowly. Please call Katsuki. He needs to know."
Guilio carefully helped her out of the nursery and into the hallway. As they moved, he pulled out his phone and dialed Katsuki's number, explaining the situation quickly and efficiently.
At the company, Katsuki's phone vibrated on the conference table. Seeing Guilio's name, he frowned and picked it up.
Katsuki (impatiently): "What is it? I'm in the middle of-"
Guilio (urgent): "Katsuki, it's Izuku. Her water broke. I'm taking her to the hospital now."
Katsuki froze for a moment, his heart racing.
Katsuki (quickly): "I'm on my way. Don't let her out of your sight, Guilio. Make sure she's safe."
