In the evening, when they arrived at Liam's and Rita's place, Liam went straight to the kitchen to start cooking. He wanted to make some Pizza from scratch. Toni laughed about him, trying to impress Rita so desperately, but Rita just looked and him with hearts in her eyes.
Liora was tired from the long day and sat herself on the couch. Now, that she had her journal back, she could finally make an entry again. She started writing, describing the three days in Valencia. She talked about all the traditional and delicious food, the sightseeing tour they got from Camila (because Elena, Mateo and Isabella weren't from Valencia), the fiestas and the great conversations they had. She also mentioned how she lost the journal and just got it back.
Then she came to the current day...
Today was very interesting. First thing in the morning, Camila woke me with a lovely breakfast and coffee. But we had to hurry, because she said sometimes the traffic on the way to the airport would be horrible. She drove me again.
At the airport everything was pretty much normal. The security check went easy, and I quickly found a seat to settle myself. After checking the departure board again, I couldn't believe what I was seeing! Sitting inconspicuous between lots of people, there was Ash! I couldn't believe to see her again. I went up to her, to ask what she's doing there, and she looked so peaceful, almost sleeping. Her outfit was casual yet gorgeous and her face was even more beautiful than in my memory.
When I got her attention, she was not very surprised, but it turned out she were following me to Valencia. How romantic is that?? She must've looked for me in all of Valencia, but what do I say? It's a big city. But now I feel like maybe I didn't imagine seeing her in Valencia. Maybe I DID see her, but didn't look close enough. Anyways, she did that just to return my charm. And even better, she even found this journal and I can finally use it again!
But when I was asking her, where she was going, she answered Malta. She was on the same goddamn flight I was! This is a bit weird, to be honest, but I still think of it being more romantic. In the end, I'm just happy because I want to spend time with her, too.
The flight itself was a lot better than the one to Valencia, because now I had my charm back and even better a real person to join me on the plane. We didn't sit next to each other, of course, but her presence was still very calming to me. I could always turn around, trying to spot her between the people. I don't think she saw me but seeing her made me feel less alone.
I'm not sure what it is, but when Ash is close to me, I'm all smiles and cuddles inside. I feel like a magnet, being dragged to her. I've never felt this way for someone before, but maybe my mind is playing tricks on me... Maybe I just like her that much because she's the hero of the day and psychologically speaking, keeping me comfort in a scary situation could trick my mind into thinking I'm in love. It wouldn't be the first time this happens, and I don't want to get tricked into love again.
But I did think a lot about her before she returned my things to me. It's all so confusing! I have to get to know her better. Maybe give a bit of a challenge, to see how much she likes trying new things. Even though I don't doubt her interest in trying things. Otherwise she wouldn't have followed me anywhere. I hope she stays in Malta for a few days, so I can show her my favourite places.
And with that she returned to writing about their day in Marsaxlokk, her new bracelet, Rita and Liam being engaged and Toni teasing them constantly.
Soon, Liam called all together, because the Pizza was ready and they had a nice evening, eating the Pizza, watching a Christmas movie and drink some cider on the couch. Toni even held herself back on making fun of Rita and Liam cuddling, while Liora couldn't stop herself from wishing to cuddle like that with Ash.
