I'm left completely in shock as I change out of my cat costume and back into my regular clothes. Out of everyone in the cast, Terrence chose me. I... What? The cast goes to DeLasalle Hall, which is where the president's office is. We have lunch together, and then we have to go back to class. Ugh. I have to refrain from checking my email for the rest of the day. I know if I do, I'll be too excited to study for finals. When school is over, I meet my theater friends in the library.
"Wait," Jayden, who plays Macavity, says, "so the casting agent talked to you? That's so cool."
"Me," Katherine says, "I didn't think he would talk to any of us."
"Yeah," Jack adds, "he must've seen something really good in you."
"Well," I say sorta sheepishly, "I've got to go. My mom's here. I'll see y'all on Monday. Finals. Ugh." I sign out of the LRC and walk out to my mom's car. I get in the passenger seat, and it's a quiet drive home.
When we get home, I put my school stuff away in my bedroom. I change into a sweatshirt and pants. I study for finals for a while. I decide to hold off on checking my email until tomorrow. After I study, I go in the basement, which is actually quite comfortable, and watch House. After I watch a few episodes of the show, I take a shower, brush my teeth, and go to bed, falling asleep quite quickly.
