Mimi’s scheming nature knew no bounds. After successfully planting doubt in Raya’s mind, she escalated her plan. This time, she aimed for a dramatic moment that would shatter their relationship completely.

Mimi approached Jake at the college cafeteria, pretending to be apologetic. “Jake, listen… I know things have been tense between us. I was wrong to interfere in your relationship. Can we at least talk? As friends?”

Jake hesitated. “Mimi, I’ve told you already—”

“It’s not about that,” she interrupted, her tone sweet but calculated. “I just need someone to talk to. Please. Let me make it up to you.”

Reluctantly, Jake agreed, thinking it might end her interference.

Later that night, Mimi messaged him: “Meet me at the club near campus. I’ll keep it casual, I promise.”

Later that night, mimi sent a massage to Raya  from the anonymous number:

“If you want the truth, come to the club near the campus at 8 pm.  Come alone.”

Raya hesitated, unsure whether to trust the message. But if it meant uncovering the truth, she knew she had to go.

Jake arrived at the club, irritated by the loud music and flashing lights. Mimi greeted him with a wide smile, already holding a drink.

“Here,” she said, handing it to him.

“I don’t drink,” Jake said firmly.

“Come on, it’s just juice. You’re so uptight,” Mimi teased.

Unaware of her intentions, Jake took a sip. The bitterness hit him immediately—it wasn’t just juice.

“Mimi, what the hell?” he snapped.

“Oh, relax,” she said with a laugh. “It’s just one drink. You need to loosen up.”

As the night went on, Mimi ensured Jake consumed more drinks. The alcohol dulled his senses, and the room spun around him.

“I shouldn’t be here,” Jake mumbled, his words slurring. “I need to… I need to talk to Raya.”

Mimi seized the moment, leaning closer to him. “I’m here for you, Jake. I’ve always been here.”

In his drunken state, Jake’s mind played tricks on him. The dim lights and Mimi’s perfume confused him, making him believe Raya was in front of him.

“Raya… I love you,” he murmured, his hands gripping Mimi’s shoulders.

Mimi smirked, her plan working perfectly. “I love you too, Jake,” she whispered, leaning in closer.

Jake pulled her into a kiss, confessing, “I’ve wanted to tell you for so long… I just want to be with you.”

Raya stood frozen at the club entrance, her heart shattering as she watched the scene unfold. Jake, her Jake, was kissing Mimi. The words he spoke echoed in her mind: “I just want to be with you.”

Tears streamed down her face as she turned and ran out of the club, unable to watch any longer.

Raya rushed home, sobbing uncontrollably. Her mother noticed her distress and quickly went to her.

“Raya, what happened?” her mother asked gently, pulling her into a comforting embrace.

Through her tears, Raya explained everything—Mimi, the messages, and what she saw at the club.

Her mother sighed, stroking her hair. “Listen to me, sweetheart. You have your whole life ahead of you. Don’t let this consume you. If Jake truly loves you, he’ll come back and prove it. But for now, focus on yourself, on your dreams. Promise me.”

Raya nodded weakly, still crying but finding solace in her mother’s words.

Jake, now barely conscious, didn’t realize what had happened. Mimi took him to his house, where his parents were waiting.

“What happened?” his father asked, concerned.

“He had too much to drink,” Mimi lied smoothly. “I brought him home safely.”

Jake’s mother looked disappointed but grateful. “Thank you, Mimi. We’ll take it from here.”

Mimi smiled, masking her true intentions. “Anything for Jake,” she said sweetly before leaving.

As she walked out, she whispered to herself, “This is just the beginning.”

The next morning, Jake woke up with a pounding headache and fragmented memories. He remembered Mimi, the club, and then... nothing.

His parents were at the table, looking concerned. “What happened last night?” his mother asked.

“Mimi brought you home. She said you drank too much,” his father added, frowning.

Jake’s stomach twisted. “What? I didn’t—” Then flashes of the night returned: Mimi’s kiss, her manipulative smile.

“She’s lying,” he muttered under his breath, fury building within him.

But what gnawed at him most was the thought of Raya. Did Mimi succeed in driving them apart?
