The Tophia & Johnny Show SEASON 2 - Episode 3 - Wall to Wall Trouble

(Johnny gets stuck in a wall and Tophia tries to save him from being trapped in a wall)

Cold Open:

The scene opens in the apartment, with a loud thump heard in the background. Tophia wakes upon the couch, groggy and confused, wearing mismatched socks and holding a mug that saysWorld's Okayest Intern. She looks around the room, trying to piece together what happened.

Tophia: (dazed, to herself) What... what happened last night?

(She scans the apartment. The fridge is half-open, muffin wrappers are scattered, and Nathan'scredit card is lying on the table. The sound of muffled yelling comes from the wall behind her.)

Johnny (V.O.): (yelling from the wall) Tophia! Can you hear me?!

Tophia: (blinking rapidly) Wait, what? Johnny?! Where are you?

(Cutaway to: Tophia stumbling around the apartment, looking in random places for Johnny,including the laundry hamper, under the couch, and inside the oven. She finally approaches thewall, looking confused.)

Tophia: (loudly) Johnny? Are you... inside the wall?

Johnny (V.O.): (muffled) Yes! Yes, I'm inside the wall! How did I get in here?! And why doesit smell like spaghetti?!

Opening Credits:

(Quick, upbeat montage of Johnny and Tophia's most ridiculous moments—Johnny stuck in atree, Tophia trying to paint their apartment, accidental dog-walking, and their chaotic podcastmoments. The credits end with Johnny's face popping out of the wall dramatically.)

Scene 1:

Tophia is standing in front of the wall where Johnny is stuck, nervously pacing and trying to figure out what to do. Muffin the cat is sitting on the windowsill, staring at her with an unamused expression.

Tophia: (panicking) Okay, okay, let's think. Johnny's inside the wall. I can hear him, but... howdo I get him out? Do I need a crowbar? A sledgehammer? A magic spell?

Johnny (V.O.): (annoyed) Tophia, I'm not trapped in Narnia! Just, get me out of the wall!

(Tophia walks to the counter and grabs a drill.)

Tophia: (determined) Fine, I'll just drill through the wall. Simple fix.

(She tries drilling into the wall, but it barely makes a dent. Muffin the cat meows loudly andknocks a muffin off the counter, causing it to land on the floor.)

Tophia: (disgruntled) Come on! You've got to be kidding me. Why is the wall so solid?! This isridiculous.

(Cutaway to: Tophia in a hardware store, trying to find a drill bit that will work. She picks up aridiculously large one, looking pleased with herself.)

Tophia: (to herself) If this doesn't work, nothing will.
