Val's P.O.V.
I woke up and thought this is the big day, my date with Tori! What should I wear? Dose she like flowers? Ugh I cant think. I got up and dragged myself into the bathroom. Gosh it smells like Kora in here. I showered and looked at myself in the mirror "oh you sexy beast Val, your hot." I told myself with a smirk.
I smelled my breath and it smelled just like Asher's dirty socks. "Gross," I mumbled as I started to brush my teeth. When I finished I looked over at the clock. "CRAP!" I yelled.
I ran into the door and fell backwards "Ouch, stupid door" I stood up and actually opened the door this time. There in the door way was Kora.
"Hey bro. Where are you going in such a hurry?" she asked
"u uhhh i...... I'm gonna go and uhhhh..... Hang out with friends?" I said nervously not wanting to tell her I was going out with her best friend.
She giggled at my reaction and replied"Val your so dumb."
"Wait what." I said.
"I know your getting ready for your date with Tori" I blushed and she laughed at me yet again. She didn't seem to be mad which was good but also strange. I pushed past her and into my room.
I rushed over to my closest and threw everything out onto the floor.
"Darn it" I said
"What are you doing?" Dad asked.
"U-uh n-nothing?" I said. He laughed.
"Val ur so stupid" he said.
"Will people stop calling me stupid" I yelled loudly
Dad just laughed and walked away. Seconds later he walked back with a black tux and red tie. "Here Son." he said giving it to me.
"Thanks!" I said and pushed him out. I had to pick tori up at 7 and it was already 6:50. I used as much speed as i had to at least get done on time. I looked up, 6:57. I panicked and ran to my car.
I arrived at Tori's house. I walked up a knocked on the door. A tall man with brown hair opened the door. "So You must be Val." he said.
"U-uh yes s-sir." I was so nervous he wouldn't approve of me dateing his daughter.
"Come in." He said in a stern voice. I did as I was told and walked in.
"You better take care of my daughter or u will be sorry young man!" he wisperd to me. I noded. We stood there in silence when tori finally came down stairs.
"W-Wow." I said when I saw tori walk down, she looked absolutely gorgeous in a yellow and white sundress.
"Oh hey Valentine!" she said smiling. I gasped.
"How do you know my first name." I was so shocked.
"Kora." she giggled.
I smiled, "call me Val!"
"Ok whatever." she sighed.
"Shall we go?" I asked.
"Sure" she said taking my hand. I led her to the car and opened the door for her like a gentleman.
"Thanks" she smiled. I walked over to my side of the car and got in. Sighing I turned the car on.
"Whats wrong?" she asked rubbing my arm.
"huh oh nothing, I just think that your dad hates me." I said.
"My dad is just....well.. I dont think he wants me to grow up thats all." she said still trying to comfort me.
"I think your right. Anyways lets get going." I said.
"Yea!" she replied.
I pulled out of the driveway. Tori found the radio and started looking for something. She finally found a country station. It was playing Picture To Burn by Taylor Swift. She started singing.
"Your just another picture to burn!" she sang beautifully.
I blushed and then smiled. She giggled. "Are we there yet?"
Laughing I said "almost" and started driveing. This was going to be the best date in like forever.
