"Kora!"
I opened my eyes and I wasn't falling. Two strong arms were wrapped around my waist. I turned to look at who had caught me. Val. Val had caught me.
He had wings. WINGS! It hit me that val was floating in mid air. His wings were long and sleek. They were a tinted crimson red, similar to Zoe von brooks wings. I was still speachless.
"You ok sis?" He asked. "I guess."
"Good. Oh and by the way you are heavy." I punched him and he laughed. We flew up to the top of the building and val set me down on the gravil.
"Alright mom I'm here to settle things once and for all. You terrorized my family. Killed my step-mom. Took away my love from me. And tried to kill my only sister. Now I'm mad." He said. Did he just call her mom!!?!?!
"Oh dear boy. It is all part of my plan." She said. "Your stupid plan! That is all you care about? What about me? You never cared about me. All you care about is your stupid plan, you wouldn't have this stupid plan if you could just own up to your actions." He said.
"I don't have time for talk, I have killing to do." Then a dark ball of energy appeared. A figure emerged from it.
Val's pov
Tori came out from the portal. She rushed at me and I ducked. "Tori!" I said as I grabbed her arm. She looked at me, frightened.
"Tori! Do it." Zoe hissed at her. "Sorry val...." she spoke. She bit my hand that was holding her arm and managed to slip through my grip. She was throwing punches at me left and right. "Tori I don't want to fight you!" I yelled. And in that split second I let my guard down she managed to hit me in the jaw.
"Oh, that isn't your Tori by the way. Your Tori is dead." Zoe hissed through her teeth. I stopped dead in my tracks. Dead? she cant be! but I know Zoe, and Zoe would kill someone like Tori. when i stopped that was the moment Tori could attack. She punched me in the stomach and pinned me down to the ground. Zoe laughed and threw the real Tori onto the gravel. her body skidded across the rocky ground.
I struggled under the fake Tori's grasp but she would not budge, "Finish him!" Zoe commanded. Tori opened her mouth and a yellow ball of light or something appeared. "Val look out!" Kora yelled, then right before my eyes Tori was hit off of me by Kora. They both crashed and hit the ground.
It astonished me that Kora had gotten there in time to save me. Tori hissed and charged at her. They started fighting and wrestling. "Fine I'll kill you myself!" Zoe growled in a dark tone of voice. Then She had her hands around my neck. She squeezed my neck as hard as she could and I was loosing air.
